To expensive

This app is way to expensive for what it gives you. 2 min recordings and a little writing.

Good but still needs work

Llauma

I found this app a few months after a breakup. I do wish I’d found it sooner, because there have been a lot of helpful “trainings” that made me think about things in a slightly different way that have made me feel better and helped me move on. Unfortunately for me, a lot of times I was prompted on things that I’ve already figured out or dealt with on my own. But that’s not the app’s fault. Where the app could use some work is follow through. There have been a number of occasions where, in the training, Elle has said I will get and email or a recipe and I never get these. I’m really bummed about not getting the cherry drink recipe (something about stress relief and sleeping better?) because I really wanted to try that. Another thing that may be helpful would be to be able to specify some things about the breakup, including whether you did the breaking up or were broken up with, in order to tailor the trainings a little better to each user. In my case, I was the one who ended the relationship (because of his infidelity) - so while still incredibly painful for me and many of the trainings about self worth and self care have been very helpful for me, there are many time when the trainings say something about being broken up with that don’t exactly apply to me. Tl;dr - very good and helpful especially immediately after a breakup, but still could use some work on allowing users to tailor to their breakup and with following through on “you’ll get an email with more information” which I’ve never gotten.

Not worth the price.

60 dollars for 3 months may be okay if it wasn’t literally just a 2-3 minutes lesson every day and a journal exercise. Price gouging the broken hearted. Save your cash.

Got Over My Heartbreak in a Day

mari_athena

I gave this app 2 stars because it helped me to get over my break in a day. After, I saw the prices to continue after the 1st day that is. That cured me of wanting to spend any more time and money in this case. I'm not about to spend my hard earned money when I don't even really know what I'm getting after 1 day. I already wasted enough time on a one sided relationship as it is. Don't get me wrong I do like the concept of this app. I just think the prices are a little steep. At the very least this app could offer a free 7-14 day trial to see if it's even worth the cost going forward.

Good, needs some tweaks

This is my nickname 1

This app is really helpful, however there are some things I feel should be able to be personalized because what is offered sometimes isn’t applicable. For example, they have the no contact tracker, which is great, but doesn’t work exactly the same when you have kids. Also wish that they had tracks geared more towards getting over divorce when kids are involved.

Second time user - no support help

Eah66

I am a second time user of this app and initially love the app. I was really looking forward to downloading it to get through my break up. I submitted my payment and then realized the audio I was receiving did not match the break up type that I had listed. I have tried to reach out to the support team three times over the past week about this issue and have not received any contact back at all or confirmation that they have even seen my email. If you’re paying on a monthly basis and you’re wasting a week trying to get the right audio for an app you’ve got a wonder what’s going on.Not to mention having to deal with us through a break up. Thanks Mend!

Great tool for healing

yogury

Mend really helped me deal and heal from a painful break up. It was something to look forward to each day, allowing me to track my progress and regain a sense of control through self care.

How much?

JamiereW

Concept of app was cool and interesting but way way too much to join. There's no trial or free session you kind have to trust you're getting your moneys worth. Suggestion-lower price, offer a short trial. Otherwise not a risk I'm willing to take. Worry

Extortion at its very best

TheJoelC

This app preys on the broken lives and hearts of individuals in extreme pain looking for peace and relief. It gets you in the front door and promises all that you crave and need, them presents you with a bill of $500.00. The pricing is outrageously ridiculous and Apple should remove this from the App Store. They get you to believe they care and them you realize, just like your ex, all they want is your money. Also it is geared to women who are straight. I’m a bit and my male partner lied and cheated. This app does not take that into account. It is not for everyone.

Mostly love, but some suggestions

justshyisall

Mend has been tremendously helpful navigating a breakup that has left me feeling utterly heartbroken. However, I feel that some of the trainings aren’t always the most helpful. For example, my training today was about “why you keep going back to your ex” and one of the possible reasons was seeking validation. I’m not going back to my ex partner and never used him as a way to seek validation. Like I said, I really do love this app, but wish the reasons for breaking up we’re more broad. I couldn’t find anything that fit the end of my relationship specifically, and perhaps that is why I’ve found a few trainings unhelpful.
