Great addition to MasterCook 15. Hopefully future update would include printing and emailing capability.

It is great to finally have access to my recipes online and on my iPad. However there is no sort feature by category or a search function. I don't have time to scroll through my hundreds of recipes every time I look for something. I would also like to see meal planning on the app.

Love Mastercook

Whoever thought of this product is brilliant. It's so much better having Mastercook than the over-done web options. With Mastercook I know the recipes are great and it's great to be able to save my own. This gives me a one-stop place for all my proven recipes along with so many other great options. Love it, I can't wait for the next update.

Good Start

Needs search function, print option. Takes too long to scroll through hundreds of recipes.

Mastercook 15 ROCKS!!!

As a Mastercook user of many, many years, I could not have dreamed of a better version than V.15. I love not having to think about where my recipes are. This iPad version is icing on the cake. Although, it is in desperate need of a search function, (my reason for only giving 4 stars), I was thrilled to see I could now edit my categories from my device. Great job, otherwise. I also have a wish list of additions, but this will tide me over nicely until later versions. Thanks!

If I have 50000 recipes, you know how long it would take me to find a recipe if I couldn't remember it's name? A long time. I love the capability to see my recipes on all of my devices. But a search feature is definitely required. I'm a retired software engineer and I can't believe a search feature was not implemented. What were they thinking.

Not ready for prime time
Needasearch

A basic necessity for any recipe app is that is has a search capability. Until such time as this app has that it is not at all functional and basically worthless.

Has some bugs

The search for recipe function does not work. Scrolling for a recipe takes forever if recipe starts with letter near end of alphabet. Only a few recipes load at a time and the process is so slow!

Like the concept, still needs some work

This app was long overdue--I have been waiting for the ability to view recipes on my tablet. So far the app has been disappointing. The margins of recipe instructions are cut off, recipes are not organized by category, etc. The program should be more functional than it actually is. Update: functionality is improving. Issues I have had with margins are no longer a problem; the developers seem to be responsive and working to improve the app. If the app continues to improve, I anticipate using it more and more.
