Really love the ease of use of this app. The accuracy and the very specific location gathering. In the mountains of PA tearing up trails or flat long distance trails in Florida.
Great app, keeps track of everything I always wanted to know about my bike rides and more. Only down side is it’s not the easiest app to figure out but I’m sure I’ll get better at using it as I go on. Highly recommend
Unfortunately, this app is marred by its unfortunate tendency to go to sleep a minute or two into a workout, thus losing the data. Good when it works, but it often doesn’t. Update: the going to sleep happens nearly every time and s a fatal flaw. MMR has also gotten very, very slow on saving. Too bad, this used to be an excellent app. Update 2: the going to sleep is now fixed and the app reliably records workouts. Still slow on saving, but just give it time, you can even let it happen in the background.
I downloaded MapMyRide app for my bicycle rides. It is not a well developed app, it is a quick knock off of mapmyrun.
I am very happy with Map My Ride. It records all of my workouts and has never failed to give me the information that I wanted to know about my ride.
Comparing MMR to both my Garmin monitor and Specialized’s Mission Control proves MMR is low by about 10%.
