So far, I'm impressed!

After loving Camera+ for years I think this may be a great upgrade. A couple of things are potentially deal breakers. 1) switching between video modes needs to be quicker. I'm on a 6s and tapping through doesn't work well. Need a video quick? Good luck. 2) The audio and histogram graphics need some love. They're not as good looking or unobtrusive as they should/could be. 3) maybe a onboarding tutorial that educates and lesser known features, e.g., ISO v EV v WB. Great app! I look forward to learning it better!

Great app some updates needed

Updated 4/28/2016 I use Manual Camera for video shooting and 645 pro camera for photos. I think, of the many apps that I have tried this one has the best most precise focusing. Feature Requests: I really would love to see adding real time filters/masks. 2, I would love to use is the Sharpen mask and the structure mask. I find that the iPhone 6s plus is a little soft. Also a lot of software try to reduce film grain by bluring the image. I don't really like this technique because it makes the image look out of focus. So a sharpen mask will make my videos look a little sharper and more detailed. Of course the image can look grainy in any low light situations. But I want the options. Also the structure mask/filter really enhances the detail in a video. I really want both Temperature and Tint control in video mode. Other app like 645 camera all me to control both the temp(blue yellow adjustment) and the tint (green and magenta colors). Playing with both controls really gets you close to what I see in the scene I am shooting. Also try 645 camera for still images it is great.

Maybe Change the Name?

This app doesn't get the respect it deserves because there is another camera app called Manual, and if you look up "Manual Camera Apps" it hardly ever shows up. Maybe it needs a new name, like KendiKam Pro, to help it get found and reviewed. Because it's an amazing app! It's worth it just for the ability to tap the screen to take a picture.

HDR

Could you add HDR? A phenomenal app otherwise!

Amazing

A 3$ DSLR camera

It exists...

I didn't think it was possible to achieve true movie-type camera video focus on an iPad. But alas, this app has done it.

It can't do time exposures!

I liked what I saw until I realized that I could only take a max of 1/3 second shutter speed. I need to do nighttime exposures, so 1/3 of a second is far too short. Camera+ can do 30s exposures, so I know it's possible.

Only half second exposure?

Ryan33333333333

I like being able to adjust the ISO settings with this app but it's frustrating to only be able to use up to a half second shutter speed. I can't think of many scenarios where I'd be using 1800+ ISO and a half second shutter, please add increased exposure or even a bulb option.

Trouble with fine adjustment

AppReviewSteve

I'm getting occasional good results from this app, but it is so hard to adjust the iso and shutter speed controls precisely, which I need, that it is frustrating and throws off my results. The icons at the end of each slider should increment and decrement by one step to compensate for this ease-of-use problem.

Rack focus

devroyspa

I needed to be able to do rack focus during video recording, and this app does it beautifully. Even better, it doesn't compress the video, and allows you to select the resolution (up to 4K!) and fps, then saves it right to your camera roll. It also lets you manually adjust a million other settings, which I'm looking forward to utilizing. But the manual focus adjusting during video recording is what really made it worth the $2.99 for me. Very easy to use, very tempting to use all the time!
