Long time Mantis user glad that materials are available again. In iPhone it’s back to being a great resource where I can flip easily between Pages and Mantis for bible study or note taking. Now that I’ve started using iPad more in these situations, Mantis would do well to take advantage of the split-screen modes available with iOS 11. Wouldn’t it be great to mimic the natural experience of having a bible open next to word processing or note-taking apps?

Far to many glitches in new version

This app used to be the best Bible reader on the market. Now it is quite possibly the worst. Selecting Bible verses is hit or miss now since barely pressing on the screen while scrolling will cause you to go to the wrong book. Don’t bother going back that will exit instead of taking you back. Notes and search are now broken too. The old search was so helpful. Now the search is extremely finicky and groups all the verses so you are forced to click to expand the blocks. Please fix the glitches and bring back the old search, bookmarks and notes features. ? You removed all the various font styles. Please bring back "courier new".

No other app for me

I’ve used this app for so long that I cannot remember how many years it’s been. If I’ve ever had an issue, customer service was right there to fix it. I will not use another Bible app, because this one is far superior.

Used to be the best

This ap used to be the best until recent update oct 2017 or so. Markers do not work as good as notes did. Mantis used to have unique features it’s competitors did not have. After the upgrade they have less features than their competitors. Lord willing they will implement prior features and the i will change my rating to 5stars. Many other people commented that it wasn’t broke why did they try and fix it. A complete tear down wasn’t necessary. I invested a lot of time and money into this ap and it pains me to have to switch to a competitors platform.

Zero Stars is not an option or I would have rated this ZERO. Sadly this previously excellent Bible app has now become unusable. I’ve spent $ hundreds in add-ons, but can’t reliably use any of the previous features. The search function is poorly designed - it locks up or crashes. The app will not switch between Bibles and sometimes displays the wrong Bible (one that had not been selected).

When I first open the Bible I have to go back or forward a chapter for the scroll up will work. Otherwise great improvement

Thanks for total ruin of app update.I have had this app for a few yrs and you wiped out all my book marks and highlights so I'm not updating no more.probably not keep the app

Over charges for things.

This app over charges for items that are 99¢ on other apps. You can get a YLT (Young’s Literal Translation) on other apps for 99¢ and this app charges $5.00. That’s ridiculous. I’ve already deleted this. $5 for something I can get for 99¢ somewhere else is just plane nuts. I’d give it more stars, but the amount of money this app is charging is like some kind of weird pay to play feature.

I used this bible and it was my fav but since the 11os upgrade it will not let me download my already purchased bibles on it and they cost me some money! Please fix that! Amp will not download and I used that all the time!
