Incomplete app

Been a long time user of Manga Rock, I even bought premium. • Through out the last 2 years this app has been incomplete. • Manga from different sources constantly fail and require manual downloads • You can purchase emoji keyboard for iMessage, and for the last 2 years “this feature is currently unavailable” • app freezes and crashes occasionally • many bugs, including re authentication, notification updates, and more. And now to make matters worse, they’re adding adds to premium user accounts, requiring a $5 per month subscription to go add free. Don’t pay for an incomplete app. I won’t be anymore.

I love this app, it lets me read all my favorite manga, webcomics, etc. and even introduce me to new amazing stories. But I just switched phones and now, after restoring my library, it says that quite a few of my favorites are unavailable even though I was reading them before the switch. I would really hate to leave this app, but if it stops me from reading my favorite manga stories, then I don’t know what choice I have. Please fix this!

Great Service, Odd Bug

I am absolutely satisfied with the service offered by the app— it provides exactly what it offers, and it’s ways of funding itself are unobtrusive. My issue with the app is that there’s an odd bug with the ads on screen when actually reading a manga, where occasionally an ad will seemingly fail to load (replaces by streaks of orange), and while this is happening, the app will sometimes cause microflickers of dead audio— not enough to be audible or noticeable, but enough for your iPhone to pick them up and mute any music you might have in the background. This is, of course, terribly frustrating if you’re like me and enjoy listening to the DOOM soundtrack on full blast while reading about fox girls pampering overworked salarymen. And if you’re not like me, what are you doing with your life?

I really enjoyed this app. I would use it everyday to just read things that I enjoyed but now with this new “membership” thing, I don't feel like using this app anymore. I’m quite upset that I had to spend money for premium just to have that not matter anymore and then now I have to get membership?? What a horrible joke you guys pulled there, really.

This app is awesome if you want an easy, user friendly way to read manga, my only complaint is that there seems to be no current way to get the ‘rocks’ which means that I cannot get more download slots, or get any of the iMessage stickers.

I love this app. Has a lot of series that really appeal to me that normally I would not find, and it even allows me to download series, and although there is a limit if you do not pay, that is okay. There aren’t many ads. People complaining about ads for them not paying are too much. If you don’t get a subscription, how else are they going to keep the service up? Now, straight to the point. I’m not sure if this is fixed yet, but occasionally when I am reading something I’ve downloaded when I do not have any internet, the app just freezes, leaving me no option but to reopen the app and be met with the same fate. It happens shortly after I boot up the app without internet and start reading downloaded material. This could be a minor inconvenience to some, but as I am often without connection and naught to do, it has become more of an inconvenience. Other than that, it’s a very good app. Been using it for quite a while now and this is the only problem I have.

the best manga reading app i literally use it everywhere on the lasted update like todays update dowloading fails alote so will ya please check that out it be a charm and theres some mangas that arent there like Nega Kun Posi chan but besides that its great

Some mangas are behind.when i checked some mangas on somenother websites i noticed that it had more chapters than what was shown in the app.for example:the manga solo levening has 84 chapters but on the app it only has like 65.

I just tried to go on the app after updating and it is showing me that I don't have any favorites or recently read, even though I just went on last week and had over 1,000 favorites and many recent reads. When I tried to use the backup, it didn't do anything and is still showing that I have no favorites. Please fix this!
