Lights work - additional features, not so much

The lights are great. Remote works. App connects just fine and the features there are nice. It feels like there is more flexibility with the app than the remote. That being said, the music feature is disappointing. The expectation was that the lights would go along with the beat of the song that is currently playing. What you get is a preprogrammed light show with select songs. Most of my library doesn’t show in the app. You have to play music from the app for it to work and even then it only works with the two songs that are already there.

Clearly there’s a lot of fake 5 star reviews. Notice any of the reviews that mention how easy the app is don’t leave a how to? I’m pretty dang good with electronics and this strip won’t show up in the app or or Bluetooth or WiFi for that matter. The sticky back’s peel cover didn’t really work. It left the strip side with no stickiness. I think the peel part itself deteriorated and left a layer on the strip side. Lighting of the LEDs isn’t uniform. When lighting the back of my TV one whole side glows bright than the other. I measured the placement evenly. Update: after several power on and offs, it did finally connect. Works with music, mic doesn’t really work but that’s not as important. I will up the the star rating from one to 2.

One of the most frustrating apps I've ever used. Rarely ever does what it should. All my lights are out of sync and can never be on at the same time

The lights are good but that’s about it. I connected my phone to the lights and it doesn’t really work to use the app and i also don’t have a big choice of music. Using my music app won’t help either so I have to rely on the music the app will let me use from my phone I guess? It’s not really worth it. I only bought this because I wanted to use it for music.
Should Add a Timer Feature!!

The app is okay and it does the trick. I think they should add a feature where you select the time of day you want the lights on and when they should turn off automatically. I lost my remote and I was so glad that there was an app or else I would have had to buy new lights. The app allows you to make your own color of lights and there’s a wide range on the color wheel. The music feature isn’t good because I don’t think it allows you to pick your own songs.
