Magic Hour 1.5 makes it easy for you to know when magic hour is coming and how much time you have left once it begins. The app takes your location along with the current day and calculates when magic hour will occur. If the weather forecast is available we give that to you as well.
What other light is cool to photograph in? The moon, of course. And you want a full moon for that. Our Moon Watch section lets you know the next moonrise and when the next full moon will appear.
In addition to this, you can set up notifications on and before magic hour begins. And with our in-app purchase you can select locations other than your current one, view future magic hour times, and create calendar events for them.
Data that is used with the Magic Hour App (e.g. locations, notifications, calendar events, etc.) remain local to your device and are not transmitted nor remotely stored.

I’ve been a fan of the magic hour for a long time, even before I knew there was a name for it! The app is perfect, and it does everything you want it to do. It’s also sleek and easy to use. You won’t ever have to wonder when the magic hour is happening because you’ll have a countdown to the minute! Also, if you use widgets, the widget is super handy. I’ve always been captivated by the magic hour. Not quite day, but it’s not quite night either. It’s as if day and night are shaking hands. Now, I never have to miss it, nor do you!!

I’m really liking this app. I’ve been using it for over a year now. It’s very practical and needs very little setup. I’m glad the developers added in the moon function and info as well. 5 out of 5!

I live on the Delaware River in PA, not in the desert in Arizona. As such, the weather is totally wrong, and the landscape is a beautiful photo, but irrelevant to where I live. Perhaps you could let us take a photo from our libraries. T
