Not working

Jpack63

Received unit, started testing and it seemed like it was working, but then it started acting very erratic giving multiple strange results then a correct one? Been over 24 hours and no response from help? May have to return it... Tried to contact customer service, they never answer, stay away, I just wasted 250... Jim

Meter is super buggy developer will not respond to any emails

calvinacosta

I’ve been reaching out to Lumu for months now via email and Instagram DMs as well as the help desk on the app itself and absolutely no one will respond and I’ve gotten seriously frustrated with this company. My meter has trouble reading flash and ever since the update it’s not reading ambient light anymore either. I’ve deleted the app and re installed and tried multiple phones and still nothing. This is ridiculous!

This app used to work with the 1st gen lightmeter with an adapter for the lighting port. No more

BKbike

The app recognizes the meter through the adapter, but then turns off Photo Ambient mode. Why? Then you’re taken to a screen to purchase your over priced 2nd gen hardware Hey LUMU here some news for you, all iPhones are going to USB C / Thunderbolt 3 starting with the next release. Just like the iPads are now. I’m done with your company over this clearly planned to force people to buy an upgrade. Keeping that the company will die along with the lightening cables.

Misleading title

JudyB429

No price is shown, but description refers to a color meter which is apparently an expensive add on. I had a free one that was great, but it was removed from the App Store. Color meters are built in some phones and a simple one would be worth while, but not for $300!

Vaporware

Phototony

When will you deliver the promised (“in a few weeks”) color flash temperature? I bought the unit because of this promise. Modern DSLRs deliver a fine metering option via the histogram, or I have a handheld meter I’ve used since the 90s to measure exposure/contrast. What I wanted was accurate color temperatures when I’m in a rented environment to make my workflow easier, which you promised but have yet to deliver.

Obnoxious noise

Memon8r

The high frequency noise that's emitted when headphones are plugged in ruined the app for me. Other than that the app works well

Color temperature meter is amazing

lytae

Use it primarily to read light temperatures with canon and Leica cameras. Works great. Inexpensive

Earphone Problem

Genoso

What the hell?! I opened this up and it blasted my ears with some death pitch! Why is this still on the App Store?? My ears are still ringing. This is outrageously unacceptable.

So far so good

Tardo to you

So far so good. Can’t wait to use it on set
