New updates keep failing

Yet again we get an "update" that makes the app even less functional than it already was. Now it won't find my bulbs when they're turned on, not even in group mode which always worked even when I couldn't control them individually. WHY CAN'T WE GET AN UPDATE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS?! This app worked great six months ago, now it's a nightmare and it's constantly getting worse!

While the 7.5 watts of my bulb is relatively dim, the functionality of the bulb with the app seems to work great. I love the infinite choices of color and the dimming function of the bulb. The capability to choose a color based on your mobile camera is awesome, and the “disco” feature is also really fun for parties. Sometimes the Bluetooth connection can be finicky, but it’s completely solved if I restart the app. Only a minor inconvenience. It’s also great to have the timer feature so the lights can automatically turn on when you wake up in the morning. It would be awesome if they could also make the app available for Apple computers

Started out well, but then support never once answered one of my pleas for help. So, don’t count on that. But, when it works, it’s pretty great. Which is about 40% or less of the time. I wish I could rate it one star for every time I have to go through all the bs to get this to work.


Fix it.

Since the update I can no longer use my LED strips. The app sees them, but they are greeted out and will not turn on. Fix this. You’ve wasted my money.

Worked Well Until A Few Weeks Ago

We have over a dozen of these bulbs throughout our home all set up on separate and appropriate groups. They all worked well as they should until a few weeks ago and now not responding to the app whatsoever. I’ve tried to reach customer service via email to no avail and totally frustrated. We’ve considered switching to Philips Hue, but we already are stuck with 17 of these bulbs and can no longer control them. Hoping there is an update to fix this bug or we’ll have to trash them all and move on to something that works. It’s a shame, they were worked by so well...


What happened??

I have 4 bulbs and they were working just fine until the recent app update. Now only one bulb turns on/off and the other three are non-functioning. Two bulbs aren’t even found in the app. Very frustrating.

CONS: Poor tech support. Highly priced bulbs. Color selection doesn’t work. Bulbs are dim. (Even at full brightness) PROS: Lots of colors. Modes could be cool. Bulb designs are great. Fast shipping.

I never thought I would get excited about installing a lightbulb. But the Lucero bulb did just that. The instructions from the company before the bulb arrived was great! I followed the directions (which were well written and easy to follow) and was able to connect to the bulb right away. The warranty was also quick and easy. So far so good! Thanks!

Love the app! Would like to see a widget with a lineup of each bulb to quickly turn them on to the previously selected color or HomeKit support for that same reason
