When I first got this, I loved it. Loved it so much I bought eight total bulbs. That's when the first problem started, I can only control four at a time. If I put all eight in the group I could not control them all, so I had to split them up into two groups of four. That was at least mildly annoying. Once I upgraded my phone to the new iOS and the new iPhone 7, it's not working at all. Does not communicate at all, does not see the lights at all. One time in the last two weeks i had a light bulb show up… And the very next time I try they were gone again. This better get fixed soon, or I'm going to try and return all of them

Good product, horrible app. No new features in months. Buggy. Music function doesn't work properly.

Lost all settings on update

All the settings were reset after update. Have to rename all light bulbs. Problem is, there is no way of renaming them after trial and error of what bulb us which.

Latest update I can no longer communicate with the bulbs. App is able to find them, but then just spins when attempting to select and program

The speed for the functions only has one speed: Maximum. Any other speed is buggy and doesn't work.

When the last couple of app updates came out the functions part of the app ceased to work like it used to. When I would pick the gradual color change functions and slow the speed down, they worked and color progression was slow. The update stopped that from working. The moods still work fine but the functions as soon as the speed is slowed down, the change is sharp and extremely slow.

Grouping of lights is amazing. On and off from the ease of your phone is simple. The only problem for me is more jan half of the functions don't work. The speed modulation is either on and going or it takes 20 years for it to go from off to bright. There's no real speed modulation so write this from. The microphone feature doesn't work a single bit, and I haven't run into it pulsating to music you choose. 2/5 in total, but the extra is for price and durability.

When adjusting the speed in the "functions" tab. The speed meter actually just causes the colors to stop changing. To make it move again you must put the speed meter at full. Secondly the music feature does not work either.

Desperately needs more functionality

This app is sad. It can sync the light to music, but only in an annoying way, flashing in an irritating pattern and only while the app is open. Seriously, fix this or become obsolete. The color selector is acceptable. The various preprogrammed effects are poorly done. I wish I'd bought Hue or Lifx.
