Excellent

Tamela Ray

A quick way to look up basic foods. I particularly like the way it shows you if some foods can cause discomfort in excess. That’s very helpful.

Easy to use

mare511

Very simple to use. Most of the time they have the food I look up. Of course, expansion would be best and hopefully they work on it!

Great

Kitty's mom

Great so far. I am learning this for a family member and it really helps me grocery shopping and meal planning. I was absolutely impressed when I sent in a query and got a response within 24 hrs. Try it !

Latin American & Asian Foodd

shenyeny

Would be nice to add more ingredients of Latin cuisine. I guess people consider it “exotic” foods fruits and veggies but it’s food I grew up with. Not really exotic it’s just below the border- Central American food ??. I also eat a lot of asian foods that are not in here yet. Still found it super helpful except I do eat more Latin foods well I try to. Still figuring out which ones I can still handle.

Very helpful app

Redrosesunset

At a glance, I can tell what I can and cannot have and what’s a possibility in certain amounts. The colors make it great. Red, a definite no. Green, a go. Looking up items is extremely easy.

Good basic list

JeanieTS

I hope the list gets updated frequently based on search attempts. It’s pretty basic at this point.

Ready Set Read

This app is very helpful when stating portion size for each item simply by tapping on it. This way, a person can know how much is considered an average portion and that a smaller portion of a certain food may not cause adverse effects. The app also breaks down the components that can cause possible bad reactions in each item so a person might learn which components they are most sensitive to. I like the three color system for this and for each food item in general. I’m glad the developer will continue to add more food choices as reliable information about them becomes available.
