Love choice is a spat in the face for those of us who subscribe. It’s also more expensive in the long run for both ftp players and those who pay. It’s under the guise of “we want it to be free to play” while they roll in that money. If only they could separate the ftp players and the players who don’t mind paying by having two separate apps or some other solution. The more love choice stories that come out, the more I step closer to cancelling my subscription and deleting the app.

I've played voltage stories for a long time and have bought many stories in the past few years. I originally supported (disliked, but supported) the love choice stories when they came out for side stories. Then, when Masquerade came out, I begrudgingly participated in the stories, as the plot seemed interesting and I liked Voltage stories. However, now I see that Voltage is now pushing for every new main story coming out to be a Love Choice story, despite the previous promise they had made to Voltage users that Love Choice would remain mainly in side stories: "We see that a lot of you are very concerned about the future of this app, but we can promise you that Love 365 will NOT turn into a free-to-play/freemium app." I was happy to spend $4 on main stories and more money buying side stories for stories I liked, however with the Love Choice model, $4 or even $10 will buy you a subpar story with no exciting or even good moments, which honestly isn't worth it. I've already ignored their "A World Without You" release and will also be ignoring "Romance MD". Keep this up and sensible users will begin to realize spending $20+ (which will only get you to the happy ending, ignoring 90% of the non bland plot points along the way) on one story isn't worth it.

After purchasing from you since 2012, I considered myself a dedicated customer. That’s obviously not the case to you though, is it? To those who had no idea about the transfer period, where did your money go? Your stories? Into the void. Never to be seen again. No, instead, you get to pay for them all over again. Doesn’t matter if you have proof of purchase; they “can’t” do anything about it. Right. Okay. I want to support you but it’s hard; you could screw me over again. The new app is a great idea, although rough around the edges. Might as well give my money to a different visual novel company. I expected better of you, Voltage.

Love Choice is a total waste of money. You don’t get to keep the story or cgs. And for the price of ONE main story of Love Choice you could get THREE main stories of Pay To Play. It’s ridiculous. I WILL NOT change my review or use the app until the feature is GONE. And neither should anyone else. I am sick of it. I am officially boycotting this app. Which is a shame based on how much money I’ve already put into it from how much I USED to love it. Past tense. I HATE it now.

The Old Voltage

I dearly miss the old Voltage. It’s just not the same anymore. And those hearts. Ik it’s just a ploy to earn money , but dang those are annoying. I really did just like the old way to read the stories, not wait and use heart points. I feel like I’m losing interest, but not really, I may just go back to the old titles to read. As much as I want to read the new titles, the hearts just don’t sit with me, and the wait time. I have seen many changes in the past 6 years, and by far this is the most frustrating.

They don’t listen to their audience. We say we don’t want love choice but they put it in anyway! Not once did we say “yeah! Let’s put a time limit on the free stuff you give us, that sounds like a great idea!” They seem to not care about the surveys they give out and do their own thing regardless. The sad thing is, I love the stories! They are engaging and I love it... but eventually I’m going to leave because the company is abusing their user base.

But unlike most freemium apps that let you save up their fake currency with login bonuses to purchase items; Love365 will now have it free hearts expire after 90 days. After adding the Love ‘Choice’ after promising not to become a freemium app, this is a real insult to users. The worse part is the latest stories were boring so I wasn't motivated to buy hearts and saving my free hearts for something interesting. Maybe others were doing the same. However, this move will not get me use hearts instead it will make me ignore Love Choice and this app completely.

I’ve been a big fan of Love 365 since it went online. I thought it was a smart move for Voltage to combine their apps all into just one easy to use. I discovered so many stories I wouldn’t have read otherwise. But ever since the advent of ‘Love Choice’ they’ve been stripping away everything I loved about the app. As a Voltage fan, I don’t like wait times and I don’t want to spend ridiculous amounts of ‘hearts’ just to get a CG. There are other apps like that, that I could play but I don’t because I hate ‘freemium’ games. It’s sad that Voltage is so willingly throwing away their old fans in hopes of trapping new ones with this horrible ‘Love Choice’ setup. Now our free coins and hearts will disappear after 90 days. This is a slap in the face Voltage. I’ve been a loyal customer for years. Likely I will gradually quit Love 365 as spinning the wheel everyday will not even be worth it.

Since it’s moved to one single app it has gone downhill. Voltage has become greedy & the game app has become not worth it anymore, they have removed the enjoyment of pay to play which love choice, which has completely removed the joys of re reading or taking any time to enjoy the story at your own pace. The app is more about what they can milk out of you rather then caring about what is enjoyable about their character & stories. Voltage is no longer a app that cares about what the customers enjoy, might as well move on to the apps on game systems because atleast you can keep the stories, play at your own pace & it’s a one time payment. Love choice is horrible, draining, stupid, & downright useless when it benefits no one but the company. Plus they had it were you could save up coins before now they have created expiration dates for the coins & the stupid hearts they are trying to promote to people, to the point were they can’t save to buy the stories that didn’t get suckered into a love choice setting. I don’t recommend this app at all until they get rid of love choice, & come back to their senses & actually go back to not screwing over their loyal customers.

I’ve been playing and buying voltage games for a few years now, since around when Knights Devotion was first released (before they compiled all the games into one) and suffice to say I’m a big fan. I’ve spent more money on these games than any other and I don’t regret it. Many of the stories I’ve played multiple times. However as much as I love these games I’m not into the new “love choice” system. It feels like a cash grab. Please just let me buy my story and have it.
