So well thought out!

This app is by far the most well thought out looper I've used - functional, fun, and intuitive. It was immediately entertaining even just with my crappy earbuds - next step audio input from my mandolin!

Great app for looping and layering music ideas

Killstrong

This app is great for making scratch tracks or quickly capturing and or layering music ideas. The user interface is pretty straightforward and easy enough to navigate. This is my go to app when I want to sketch out new song ideas.

Start off by apologizing

I believe this majestic program was picked up free at some time and because of this I may have not given it a proper look. I have had it forever and I just started using it. If you are anyone who owns field microphones and enjoys recording nature this is a great way to craft your own style. Not to fancy, but if know what you are doing and have the skills required to work with high fidelity condenser microphones you will instantly be grateful that this exists. I own a dr-05 Tascam and it's great since I can use the incredible pair of stereo condensers. It has nice reverb and a few other handy effects. I can plug my iPhone into the line in. This allows you to encode MP3 files, and you can convert them later. Brilliant if you like to keep things away from the net. Now I can have multiple tracks panning, volume, syncing. I can take my recording of a storm layer it onto my soundscapes from the lake. Then add atmosphere into the backgrounds of my tracks. It adds unique flavor to every track. If you don't create music, but you are an engineer as well this is great for laying out design templates for use in the future. Thanks again for a great program. I just discovered it tonight :D. I'm going to use it tomorrow hopefully when I'm recording. iOS is getting some major applications recently.

Fantastic looper!

I'm embarrassed to admit that I've owned Loopy for quite some time, but was a bit confused by the interface, and found it daunting. But, after watching their introduction video via their website, it makes complete sense and I find it extremely intuitive and fun to use. I love that it is seamless with Audiobus, which makes sense, because Loopy's developer is also responsible for Audiobus and Audiobus Remote. Very cool! I would love to request for Loopy's metronome toggle to be accessible via the AB panel and AB Remote triggers. That would help make my live loop recording more efficient. Thanks in advance, and thanks for making such a great musical tool.

Awesome music tool!

I primarily use this app to loop hardware synths, and it works great. I use a Presonus Audiobox iTwo to send audio in and MIDI out. I have looped different hardware synths including a Novation MiniNova and Korg Volcas with great success. Loopy is fairly easy to use, and there is a help menu and tutorials to aid in comprehension. It also has features that make it excel at live uses, such as record count-in, beat sync playback, and a two-finger twist function that allows you to fix timing issues. Plus, it supports audiobus, so it works with synth apps as well. In all, this app is a great tool that has allowed me expand my workflow and seamlessly integrate both my hardware synths and synth apps. The only thing I can think of that would make it better is an equalizer on a per loop basis.

Worth Every Penny, Amazing App!

I highly recommend this App, it has by far exceeded my expectations, I've used a number of different loop stations, and after using Loopy HD I was shocked by its capabilities. If you are looking to expand your creative endeavors and compose your best work, this is a perfect tool to accomplish that!

Could be so awesome

This app would be so friggin amazing if it wasn't the most confusing thing I've ever tried to figure out. The layout is not easy to comprehend whatsoever, and I'm a mechanical engineer...

I LOVE Loopy, but....

I've used this wonderful program for years, as far back as my Ipad 1, and I love it. I wrote so many things on it, I have used it in concert, and I've developed ways to use it that the people who wrote this app didn't even imagine. On the Ipad pro, it's wonderful. That is why I was disappointed the other day when the app started malfunctioning, and just when I needed it. The sound was weird, and other glitches made it totally un-usable. I had to dump it and re-load it, and I lost almost a year of compositions. Now I have to re-compose a bunch of stuff that I use in concert, and that's VERY frustrating. Any suggestions? I really like the app, but losing all of that made me wonder if it's really something i can use professionally.

I bought it, I tried it out, I got bored with it. I do not remember how much I spent for it because it was a while ago. I am not a musician. I purchased it because I saw it on the TV show as indicated in the description of the app. It's nice to play around with, but so far I have not found a use for it. I love music. Who doesn't?
