The only down side is that it’s not very intuitive.... but once you get a handle on it you have hours of fun with it. Makes a neat song writing tool as well!

I use this app for iterating on songs, trying out sections of interactive cinematic scores, and for looping instrumentals while I writing lyrics. Incredible, indispensable tool for musicians and songwriters.

Hello! First I want to thank Michael for making my singular favorite phone app. I use it in my life and it helps me in a therapeutic way. First I’ll state this: buy this app and support the developer! Okay now that I’ve gotten the advertisement out of the way I would like to suggest what Michael does with all this newfound money and time in regards to Loopy: Please add pitch shifting loops either by transposition or by half speed/double speeding. Also extend the number of loops to 24 by adding a second page tab. That’s it! One day I will travel the world with Loopy and support myself doing it. Thank you Loopy (and Michael and the development team.)

It works, and the design is pretty intuitive. Loopy is a new “instrument“ for me to learn, and the main limitation is what I can learn to with it. With some planning and practice, I’m sure this can be a real asset to my music making. Looking forward to the process!

This is the only app I “own” It has helped me write countless songs in a simple way that allows for very little friction between thinking and doing. It is perfect for starting songs and even live applications if you are into that.
