Lockdown VPN subscriptions have a free one week trial, after which you will be charged through your iTunes account. Price may vary by location. This app doesn’t work. Turned on tracking blocking and it kept putting up a window to allow another feature I didn’t want because it included monitoring all of my stuff. Couldn’t get rid of the window so couldn’t Veblen close the app. Had to reset my phone to close it. Deleted
Sudden issue

I love the app as it’s been very effective even at blocking the colors and trackers that number in the hundreds of thousands on the apps I use but suddenly it seems to have stopped working. As soon as I exact the lockdown app the firewall turns off and when I manually reset it it seems to be working but then I notice it shuts off again. Has the recent update caused this to happen? Update: I saw one of the top reviews suggest a fix was activating the VPN and firewall at the same while making sure the background app refresh is on but it only seems to be as bad or worse and the apps I’m most concerned about are running over the firewall or it is turning off on its own entirely.

I LOVED the app. So transparent easy to use. I can check the logs, add all the different variations of goggles snoop addresses. I can go to another app, open it, then go back to LOCKDOWN and see who popped up on the logs. Very helpful. But then I downloaded a network analyzer and found that all of my hosts in any part of the world was hosted by Amazon. Korea, Germany…it’s all by Amazon. I’m not s tech and am not tech savvy, but I do know that, to me, Amazon is just as untrustworthy as google or Facebook. And I wondered why Amazon never showed up in any logs.

I used to love the lockdown app and it worked wonderfully, but lately it almost never works. I’ll turn it on and get on another app and while the other app is open, the blocker will just turn itself off making it useless.

Playing some game on my phone and was curious how many pop-ups this thing had blocked for me so I went and checked it has Blocked 274 pop-ups in the last 28 minutes loving this app

It’s getting really annoying that I have to constantly check to see if the app if working or not. I swear I have to go in at at least twenty times a day and turn it back on. Which leaves me wide open to attack. My phone has been hacked and this app actually seems to help, at least I thought so. When it stays on! Idk if it’s the hackers or the app causing the problem. Either way it doesn’t say for much. Why am I paying for something every month that I can’t use 50% of the time. Please fix this!

This VPN app works perfect for what i need. So here in Denver we can’t watch like Colorado Avalanche games, with this particular VPN service i can watch games, i couldn’t with the others for whatever reason. I know i use VPN for the wrong things but i like to be able to watch some sports when it’s blacked out in my region.

Looking forward to a tracker blocker I was happy to download this. But since I have downloaded it even though it sends me notices that it has blocked thousands and thousands of trackers I am getting more targeted ads including some for things I looked up on my desktop and nowhere near my phone and then finally several ads for things I had only discussed on the phone with a friend and hadn’t looked up at all. At worst this is collusion between Apple and lockdown to share targeted. At best the app is incompetent. Worthless
