I LOVE ❤️ this app! It's so simple, yet it is very useful for someone who wants to write in his/her blog without any doubt whether he/she needs to post this or he/she will be judged for that. It's a peaceful quiet app.

I can post and read other posts, and that's mostly it. I'm mainly a mobile user. This app was updated from a previous version that was great. They took the ability to view your inbox off of the app, and you cannot receive notifications. This is a shame considering I'm from a sales community and I need to be able to read my comments remotely. Add an inbox and notifications please.

I can view others posts and post things. That's really it. I was hoping I'd be able to access my drafts so I can edit on the go. But no such feature to review or even save a draft. Saddest blogging app ever. I'll just stick to desktop until you finally give this app a HUGE update.

For someone like me who only uses LJ to fill out surveys, the app is perfect. It's simple to use and has all the features I need. However, for people who are more involved and like the depth and interface of the desktop version, you will be disappointed.

love this app and have been a user for many years now, but the mobile app is terrible and I keep getting a weird Russian error message whenever I try to post so I can't and I don't understand ??

It's surprising how bad this app is considering how little it does. What's most frustrating to me is that the word processor works poorly in that it won't allow spellcheck to replace a misspelled word (you have to tap the cursor to where you want it and delete), and if you want to highlight passages that go off the screen, you're out of luck (you have to highlight and delete in increments limited to what's displayed onscreen). You're better off loading the website in a browser and doing it that way unless you want to quickly post something without editing.

LJ's app has always been basic. Simple. Yeah, it's wasn't the best of the best, but at least I could use the official app to check my favorite comms without being bombarded by weird third-party advertisements. Until now. The last redeemable quality of the app has just been flushed down a toilet. I'm not surprised by the origin of the ads. Yeah. They're Russian. Don't care about that. What I care about is that I've been using this app since the iPhone 4S and I don't *ever* recall there being ads of any kind. Inline or pop-up. This is the first time I've seen them and I promise it'll be the last.
