TOO EXPENSIVE. Greed comes to mind. I think the developer would make a whole lot more money, and seem much more reasonable selling for $1.99 - 5.99 a pop period. And it wouldn’t make me feel like his hand is in my pocket ? Ah!, but the developer would not keep getting those re-occurring monthly/yearly subscription charges that people forget about or miss cancelling in time. Even if I were a wealthy person, common sense tells me it cost way too much. Hi-lighting is cool yes, but I personally don’t need this app this much $$$. A lot of “Notebooks” apps (PUN intended) already import webpages and other apps documents such as PDFs and let you multi-color hi-light with less involved finger action.

This liner app is great for dairy work and super easy to use, 5 stars for the great work!

Liner is a great app that allows you to highlight on websites. You can even send links to people so they can view what you've highlighted. This feature is brilliant. Because you cannot also annotate I find its usefulness somewhat limited. I'm a teacher so if we could annotate I could see this being an excellent tool for students.

How I wish all this technology was available when I was a student. Fantastic tool for a student these days, as well as anyone trying to learn. While I am no longer a formal student, one never stops learning and I am sure I will use it.

I love highlighting my notes and figured I would give this a try. I love it! Easy to use and light weight.

Just got so excited and tried it without success. The idea is great and much needed. I'll check back for updates.

What a wonderfully useful app . So why wouldn't you make it complete. Scenario : its morning, you have your coffee, set the iPad down then open Liner. Oh wait, now I'm bending my neck, followed by the shoulders then the torso so that I can read. whats wrong with this picture?? Not that this is anything new, plenty of great apps decide to make it a little less great....ON PURPOSE. What!? So, the iPad is charging, I have to unplug it, turn it portrait, prop it up against something and I'm thinking, WHAT THE HELL. Why?? Because the creative genius developers decided, for whatever arbitrary reason, they're not going to let a great app be ehhh, completely great?????. WHY????? why do so many developers decide, conciously, hey let's omit horizontal orientation, that way the experience, otherwise great, is a pain in the a*%
