A must have for editors/graphic design

PNG. Format has become extremely useful when creating a mixed vector design. When rescaling and increasing resolution, this app makes the process seamless and works beautifully with iPhone files, and creative apps like Bazaart.

I'm new to vectors and have predominatley been using Pixelmator for my graphic needs. I did not want to go with Adopbe Illustrator becauses of the monthly subscription as I only need it for casual use. On searching for an alternative i discoverd two apps that might fit my needs - Vectornator and Affinity Designer. I started with Vectornator as it was free and struggled with it right from the start. I put this down to the fact that I was coming from Pixelmator and that its tools a functions just performed differently. Then I tried Affinity Designer (1 week free trial directly from them) and found that to be extremely intuitive and somewhat simple to get the hang of their tools. I followed some youtube tutorials to learn some basic skills. The free trial has since expired. This brought me back to vectornator. The reason I came back to vectornator (besides the expired trial) was that I felt like I had gained a better understanding of how a program like this opperates and how to utilise the tools since using Affitity for a week. The skills did not transfer. I tried to do something simple which was to turn the letter "D" into an outline. The app could not do it and let to a lot of frustration. I plan to go with Affinity Designer its worth the $60

I am so happy with this app. It works seamlessly with the I-pad and as a result super intuitive to use. I work with Procreate as well, and coming over to Vectornator was super easy to pick up. And it comes with a great downloadable i-book user guide. I wonder why a free app works so much better than costly apps? I don’t know how they did it, but thank you! It’s now an integral part of my work flow. But wait, there’s more. Customer support gets back to you promptly as well. All smiles.

So this app is nice has nice tools qaulityu so on and so on. After having it for a few months everytime i would try to draw it would just close the app. It may be just me. But im on my mac trying to draw and just stay getting shut out. I tried restarting teh app deleting it and downloading again. Neither of those worked for me. This app is nice, dont get me wrong but, just needs bug fixes.
