Just. Wow!

ScriptNasty

Words cannot express how great full I am for you all to have benevolently given us all such a AAA quality design application, for FREE! Much love, respect, and blessings too all the hard working developers it took to produce this wondrous masterpiece! Thank you ???

Worst UI I have ever encountered

Redrioja

The recent update to Vectornator X sounded promising. I totally failed to find the new Auto Trace feature. Googling did find other people with the same problem, but no real solution. By accident I discovered how it works, and it does very badly too. Also other menus and functions had me guessing what they are and how to use them. I have years of experience in graphics design on PC and on iPad and no app ever was so hard to work with. Vectornator might be powerful, but with a user experience as bad as this, I will never find out. Take a look at Procreate or Affinity Designer to see how its done.

Best 10 dollar investment I have ever spent!

Seriously, This app is the best I have ever down loaded. If you still are not sold just watch a few YouTube how to use videos and you will get an idea on all the tools and features this app has. There is not any uploads of upgrades yet, but I am sure they will exceed my expectations.

Great app but.....keep crashing!!!!!!

|_ /-\

I love this app but the recent upgrade/update for Vectornator X is just not functioning properly, the app keep crashing. Now you can’t copy paste a color palette and the place text on path doesn’t work properly. Wish there is a way to change line stroke to dashes.

Use it Every Day

Very easy to use with lots of features! You have to google or look up how to do certain things, but you have to do that with any design program until you become familiar with it. Developers are very responsive. Definitely 5 stars.

Can’t transfer to illustrator

vladadaka

Be aware, you won’t be able transfer editable files to Adobe Illustrator. After I spend so much time creating my artworks I realized that all I can get is flat image , such a pain. There’s no way you can export file from affinity designer to adobe Illustrator with all the layers.

It’s awesome but...

SReutoka

Recently the app has been randomly quitting while I’m in the middle of working on my piece.

Blending modes

NLEGITN

Blending modes work for images you import. Imported image a over imported image b blends just fine. Normal, darken, multiply, lighten, etc... When you are painting with the pen, pencil and airbrush over another layer the blending modes do not work at all:(

Sorry to do this

Jareditor

I don’t generally sling one-star ratings, but I can’t find any way to get an answer for a simple question about making and deleting guides. I’ve spent about an hour trying to get actual information about using guides and I couldn’t find anything. Putting together a thorough and up-to-date manual covering all of Vectornator’s tools would really be helpful and would lend credence to your claim that this is a tool for professionals. Their user forum is essentially useless, and the Vectornator staff doesn’t even acknowledge inquiries there. It’s a great app in many ways, but I don’t want to spend drawing time learning tools by trial and error.

Excellent for Line Art, only...

One thing concerns me, shouldn’t there be geometric correction feature? I like what you can do with it, but if you’re doing this for graphic design for a development firm, or even a video game, shouldn’t you make it easier for those that want it look pretty, especially with short deadlines? Despite the steep learning curve, I think it’s a close second to all those expensive, commercial graphic design suites, say from Adobe.
