I am a college student so I do a lot of walking to and from classes. I looked through my laundry TWICE, in my bed, even in my trash! I hoped there was an app that could help me track it and this was it!! The stronger the signal bars the closer you are to your device. Long story short it was in the laundry still attached to my workout pants... but definitely recommend this app (:

Downloaded Aerlink on my android and my smartwatch, opened it on my watch and used this app to connect to it. Just click "Blank" btw and it will work
Didn't find you Fitbit

Somehow it can't find my Fitbit even though it's connected to my phone. It caught my Vizio TV,but I needs to find my Alta hr. It used to find my charge HR, don't know what happened to this app.
The de facto BLE dev tool there is!

I write software for a living and recently got into a job that involves writing Bluetooth connected applications. Boy is this app a lifesaver—you’re able to look at all surrounding devices and pick your dev kit, then drill down into the services and characteristics. What’s more, you can even arbitrarily read, write or register for indications from your device so you can test the behavior of your device.

The app allows easy discovery of services and characteristics on the BLE device as well as reading and writing to the device. The cloning feature is especially useful for debugging the APP side BLE communication and discovery.

Lost Fitbit One while doing yard work. Noticed it missing later in the evening. It still synced to my iPhone, so I knew it must be nearby. Within five minutes of opening this app I was guided to check outside, where the One had slipped from my pocket. Mind you, this was in darkness, with only the light from the phone's screen and the app's detection capability. A genuine gem of an app! Tried three, and this one did the job!
