Very nice app. No crashes and very user friendly. My family members are using it as well for safety measures. It has already came in very handy. A Multitude of Uses. If you treasure your family as I do it’s a great tool. Already found a missing IPhone and was able to find my daughter when she broke down on a farm road.

Excelent, nice and precise.

Not accurate

Duffbearded

Used to love this app but then it started becoming inaccurate. The app started telling my wife that I left home when I was sitting next to her at home. I hope this gets fixed very soon.

Suspicious

Kkpreston

My spouse sent me an invitation to join. After inputting the code the next question asked if I wanted to join the group below. One was my spouses name & the other said, “Grandma”. Neither one of us has any idea where the heck, “Grandma”, came from!! Our grandparents both died decades ago. I have no option to only select my spouse, & am NOT going to allow “Grandma” (whoever that is!!) to know my whereabouts. I’m deleting this app.

Inaccurate location notifications, overpriced premium features

OstinatoFreak

UPDATE ON 11/30/17: developer’s response gives me directions on how to adjust the radius. I already knew how to do this. The issue is that even when I adjust the radius to the smallest the app allows, it is still cumbersomely large. ORIGINAL REVIEW: First of all, location arrival notifications in this app are very inaccurate. We have several locations set up such as kids’ friends’ houses, malls, etc. The app will falsely report my wife arriving at various places on her way to work even though her path does not even come close to intersecting with the circular area of the locations. It appears that location notifications are triggered by approaching within a football field of a defined location area. I’d like to be able to define a location radius the size of a single house, but instead the app forces each location to be no smaller than literally 10 houses (and this is in an area where houses are built far apart from each other – in other areas the required radius would be a whole block). I would hope that with such a cumbersomely large radius requirement for locations, false positive arrival notifications wouldn’t exist. This app gives you both. I also think the premium features are hugely overpriced: $10/year would be reasonable for an app like this (after the 2 undesired behaviors above are fixed), but the premium app costs many times this amount. All we want to do is be able to have our family (“circle”) use the app and have many locations defined. Not interested in anything else. Neither of these functions actually deprives Life360 of any resources other than negligible bytes and bandwidth of automated data syncing. And don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind paying for premium features, even when we’re just talking about bits and bytes of automated data, but when that comes at such a hefty price, it really rubs me the wrong way. This app makes me remember the days when cell phone companies charged 10 cents to send a text message. Just because people were willing to pay for their texting like that doesn’t justify the pricing.
