No “lending” option

Que_Sarah218

I love this app! I mainly use it for all of my “Teacher” books. It helps with lesson planning and making sure I don’t buy the same book more than once from Scholastic! I just really wish there was a “lending” option in the app as some of my colleagues tend to borrow some books. Thanks!

Works better on iPhone than iPad

KevanSizemore.com

The app works really well and the bar code reader is super handy on my iPhone. I’m a little disappointed in the iPad version; it only supports a portrait device orientation and it does not make good use of the larger display area.

SO CLOSE!!!

Madcity Mama

I’d happily pay a flat fee or subscription to support the programmers to make these improvements that everyone is requesting (sorting, lending, comments, etc). There is no other app that is so close to perfect! It’s been a full year since the last update - PLEASE make a pro verIon or something and take advantage of this woefully lacking genre of app!

Compatible with iOS 11?

Lori Ori O

The app doesn’t seem compatible with the latest iOS; the scanning feature no longer works. Is there a fix in progress? I love this app but I can no longer scan my books into it.

Disappointing

Ziblgft

I’m a long - long time user of LibraryThing... the desktop version. I’ve had this app downloaded for over a year, and I always find it to be almost totally useless. It only has about 10% of the functionality of the desktop version. And, the scan function rarely if ever works. Bottom line - LibraryThing is a wonderful tool, the desktop version that is. Use it - not this app!

Doesn’t work

HerrSchindler

Literally the only thing that works is the login, and barely so. Everything else is giving me authentication token and network errors. Guys, if you don’t want to bother keeping your apps up to date, take them out of the App Store. Be a good sport and help us keep this place clean from garbage and abandoned apps like this one.

No place for comments or notes

jeffanon

Catalogs all the stock info fine, including cover pictures, but there's no place to take your own private notes, which is a deal breaker for me.

Love it!

The only thing I would add is a way for the app to notify you when you are entering a duplicate title. I tried several apps and this was the easiest and the one that was correct most of the time. Only 2 out of 65 books scanned up incorrectly

Worked great!

Mama33bobs

I love this app! The book entry is so easy I use it more than the website now. Yes, it doesn’t allow you to enter a “wish list” in a way where the books are NOT counted with my other library books, but I’m guessing the way the database hierarchy was designed prevents that. For a free app, I’ll deal with it.

Extremely limited app

galapogosian

This app is limited on the information it provides so that you have to use their website to get a complete record. It’s absurd. Deleted.
