I got mine installed a week after I got my 2014 Lexus ES 300h my 2009 CX7 I could roll down the windows and open the sunroof and if the temp in the car was too hot it would vent the sunroof automatically and would automatically close windows & sunroof if it rained. I find it hard to believe that after spending @ $1000 to have this installed I am limited to start, stop, lock/unlock and trunk pop. Plus the difficulty logging into the app is a pain! Starting with the key fob is so much faster. I do like the car finder feature but haven't really used it yet only played with it. I really hope Lexus ads features to start and preheat/cool during extreme temps or ability to vent sunroof and or windows. And PLEASE get rid of the multi password feature!!! Thanks I really expected more from Lexus

My last post was deleted. App is great idea poor execution. App never works. Constantly having to change password. Remote start is pointless. The car turns off once you touch the door handle. The anti theft system. The only remote start to warm the car cut off when u enter and require you to restart. Useless. Should have gone to Disney instead.

More often then not we only report the bad stuff but this app most definitely needs more reviews and mine happens to be of a very satisfied customer, I've used the app and RES+ on my 2013 RX since February 2013 and I've enjoyed both cool driving temp in NYC summer weather 95 degree more and 100% RH as well as nice and I warm seats in NYC and winters of real feel -10 degrees. Point is It's useful specially when your car isn't in reach of your remote key. All in all a great add on sure it be nice if windows came down but then again why? Don't see that point I use the app on cold temps or really hot temps and the last thing I want is the outside air temps getting in the way of comfort tempering. Now please just add apple watch app support.

We got this installed in our '13 RX two weeks ago. The negative reviews made me nervous but the install and app worked perfectly. I would like a Watch and Fingerprint unlock. I will never get into an overheated truck again

Slow does not do justice to just how painful the app is to use. You can buy a new key and have it cut and use it in the door before the car actually starts. Last year it was a lack of iOS 8 compatibility and just this week the ENTIRE Res+ system has been offline for a week. Yes folks, nobody's RES+ works right now 8/25). Lexus tells me they have no idea when it will be fixed. The entire system is outsourced to Fujitsu.... The LTS's at the dealers are clueless too. My dealer has offered to refund me the entire cost of the system. That should tell you something. I love my 450h, but I think RES+ is awful. Lexus IS anything but high tech company.

What a waste of money. I had this installed last year at the dealer and I have had nothing but issues with the operation of the unit. I consistently get the error message "Communication with the vehicle was interrupted..." My CT200h has been back to the dealer well over 5 times now and the only way to solve it is for them to pull the negatives battery cable to "reset" the system. Lexus has been less than helpful in this matter. The dealer points the finger at Lexus and Lexus points the finger right back. DO NOT BUY RES+

After months of frustration, the dealership finally got this working. The error I always received was, "Communication with the vehicle was interrupted. Please try again later." When originally installed, the dealership left the system in "service mode". Once they took it out of service mode, then disconnected and reconnected the car battery to reset the radio system, the RES+ finally worked consistently. It is slow, but it works on my iPhone 5s and my spouse's iPhone 6. Hope this helps.

Purchased this $700 extra in August and has been nothing but trouble. Have been to service Dept several time. They even pulled the module out and replaced and yet it still will not work with my iPhone. This was the biggest east of my money and more important my time trying to get it fixed. Sadly Lexus technology is painfully behind the times. Do not waste your money buying this add on. Also what's the point starting the car only to have it turn off when you open the door?

We own 2 Lexus autos. Mechanically, the best care made. Technologically, the worst. Had this installed in my '14 LX350, spent $1,000, wasted! This app should alert me if my care has been tampered with, it does not. This app should include Apple touch to open the app. This app should not take up to 60 seconds to find the satellite and open so I can then wait up to 90 seconds for it to start my car!!!!!!!!! Obviously, no one at Lexus IS listening not are they working to update or UPGRADE this app. Wish I had my $$$$ back. SLOW TO CONNECT TO APP, SLOW TO START THE CAR. standing around for 5 minutes trying to start your car using your phone is ridiculous. Come on Lexus, you can do better...You owe it to us!!! You got ripped off by your App maker. In turn, you have ripped off your loyal customers. Not happy!
