FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!

YOU CHARGE $65 A YEAR FOR THIS SERVICE. UPDATE THE APP FOR GOD’S SAKE! IT SHOULD BE USING FACE ID FOR THE PASSWORD. CANCELING MY SUBSCRIPTION UNTIL THE APP IS USABLE.

Should be zero stars!

I was told today that Lexus is no longer supporting this app. I paid $750 to have this on my 2014 ES300. Guess they decided cars on the road 5 years later don't need this any more! Newer cars have remote incorporated in Enform so they obviously don't want two systems any more. Technology is not a high point with Lexus!

Fraud

Bunch of BS. I have a 2013 Lexus and this app doesn't work. Stupid crap

Doesn't Work

Lexus - why bother with an App that doesn't work?

RX Only?

When will you offer the app for Lexus models other than the RX? What is the hold up? I would buy it tomorrow if you offered it for the GS 350.

Major Letdown From Lexus

RogersDA

For the price of the car and the starter you would think that Lexus would release a fast, user-friendly app Alas, this is not the case. Logging-on is sporadic at best. And it takes a long time when it finally works. Starting/stopping the car's engine remotely takes a long time. And yet Lexus wants us to pay each year for this "service". Well after the initial year is up I doubt I will renew. Expensive lesson to learn.

Very Disappointed

I have had the RES+ for a little over a week. I already have an appointment to have it uninstalled and get my money back. The range on the remote, when not using the app, is awful. I could live with that if the system redeemed it self somewhere else. Say, if you could open the doors without it shutting off. Ok, both of those I could live with if the app redeemed it. Nope. The app doesn't remember your password (and the code has to have a capital letter, lower case letter, and a number) and once you do enter your password it takes approximately 60 seconds to log in. Then the app ask for a pass code once you hit the "start button". From there about another 60 seconds before the car starts. Not what I expect after paying $67 per year for the service.

Reliable, works as advertised

I don't usually write reviews, but the only other reviews were so negative that I wanted to speak up to say that this app works great for me. I've got a 2014 ES and an iPhone 5S running iOS 7. I only wish it was faster to load up and it didn't require a lengthy password to log in, and the Find My Car isn't always very accurate. I'd love to see the ability to toggle defroster, seat warmer, steering wheel warmer, but those aren't promised, so I can't really complain.

Lexus has no idea how to troubleshoot

KevinNYC5

Would never expect such a fiasco from Lexus... Have had it for 2 months, it was never able to connect to my 2014 GX460. No one either at Lexus or the dealership, or even application support knows what to do. They all advise that I wait...

Useless

The RES+ system is useless. You must login using a complex password EVERYTIME you open the app which usually takes 1-2 minutes to accomplish, then enter a 4 digit PIN to start the car. There is a significant delay before the car starts. So from the time to open the app to car starting averages 3-4 minutes. The cell and GPS reception is terrible, as the car will not receive a signal in my garage, where I get perfectly good cell reception on my phone. I had a Viper SmartStart in my traded in Lexus, and this worked nearly flawlessly. It makes Lexus look like a low budget production. I’m disgusted.
