Just wanted to add a quick update. It appears that Lexus knows how bad this app was so what do they do, fix it in their new app release available for the 2015 ES etc. Are they going to do anything for those of us that bought for 2014? My guess is no! Res+ has been quite a disappointment! I ordered my ES350 with Res+ installed. When I took delivery Res+ was not working. After many calls to the dealer and Lexus customer service someone was assigned to solving the problem. After a few weeks they determined that it was an antenna placement problem and corrected it. It now works but after seeing how other remote starters function this is really a simple design with minimal features. Lexus should be ashamed that they have their name on this product! I agree with other reviewers it's slow to login, at times you can't login, using multiple passwords is cumbersome, and you pay a yearly fee. But for me the worst feature is that the car shuts down when you open the door? Why would you design a remote starter that makes you restart the car when you get in? Not sure what the engineers were thinking but here's a real life example to consider; In the winter you start your car from your house or office to warm the cabin up. Then you go outside to clean snow off the windows but your brush is in the car, when you open the door the car shuts down! You then get in the car start it the normal way to get the in car temp warm and to clean the snow off. Ask yourself what's the benefit?

I've contacted Lexus several times with what I think could be improved on RES+. Looks like they took all of that feedback, and built a brand new app -- that only 2015 models can use. Seriously?!

Update....after continuing to contact Lexus, they brought in a national tech and he was able to finally make my RES+ operational after 2 and half month's of complaining. They wouldn't actually tell me what they did, but it works fine now. My advice, don't stop hounding them until they fix it, they know how, but it is a time consuming fix. I had to leave my car and phone there all day. I ordered the RES+ on my 2014 ES 350. It hasn't worked from day one. The dealership said it won't work because my cellphone signal is too weak, he said I need at least 5 bars for it to work. What the bleep! If I can access the internet and make phone calls, I should be able to communicate with my vehicle via the phone. All they said was it was nothing else they could do. DO NOT GET THIS APP! It's worthless!!! Oh by the way, Lexus is thrashing the RES+ this year for a new remote system because of the problems with RES+, but they will still sell it to you.

This app is terrible. I keep getting a "communication with the vehicle was interrupted" error. Tried everything the manual suggested. Nothing works. Worst money I ever spent.
