I pined over the Lemur when it first was released, but never got to buy it for it's $2K price tag... now, finally, I have it for only $50 and the price of an iPad. UPDATE: Only $10, now! I'm an avid user of Ableton Live, and have successfully set up Mu to function with this app. It's a work of art, an amazing - super customizable - controller, that offers anything and everything the user could want, only limited by your willingness to set it up. EDIT: Now LiveControl 2 is the way to go! Setup is not simple. It takes a bit of learning to understand how to edit the templates in the Lemur Editor, but it's alot of fun to create a controller that's your own... just the way you want. In order to use Mu, the Ableton API controller, Max For Live must be purchased and installed. If you have the Live, the Lemur App, and Max for Live... Put the Mu 1.2 folder in the Cycling '74 folder, and drop the Mu.amxd (Max Device) into Live's Master channel, and the Lemur App will instantly update the Template and mock whatever you've created in Live. EDIT: Setup is simpler than ever, and now USB>Lightning connections are supported, instead of just wifi.

The latest update addressed the crash on startup with iPad 1, thanks for supporting all your users, very much enjoying lemur here.
No excuse for crashes when it's a $50 app.

I have this app for 2 years and I think that it's probably the best in the market for what it does. However, last month that released an update that crashes the app for thousand of users. The up was down for a whole week. The new update fixed the crutches and now it's working fine. This is a professional app. I'm using it for professional work and I'm depending on it to work in my setup. So does many of my friend. I'm sorry but there is no excuse for this app to be down for a whole week. especially for as much as they charging for it.

Lemur + Ableton Live = PHENOMENAL COSMIC POWER. This app is incredible. It works flawlessly (if you know what you're doing), it's beautiful to look at and the possibilities are endless. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Lemur. This version seems to be rock-solid and works immediately as soon as I boot up Ableton, which is all I really ask for (other apps of this nature can be kind of a nightmare to get going, and nothing kills inspiration like troubleshooting.) The only feature request I can think of is it would be nice if every controller showed its assigned MIDI Output Message while you're in Edit Mode. While I'm duplicating buttons and whatnot, sometimes I forget to change the assigned output and I end up with two controls doing the same thing. This is such a minuscule thing to gripe about I feel a bit embarrassed bringing it up. Thank you to the developers for this unbelievable software. It blows my mind that we live in a world where stuff this cool exists.

It's been OVER a Year since the last update (ft Canvas Objects) any idea when you're gonna update this frwd thinking and ultimate micro-midi interface - a (once) $50 app?
App is a hassle to set up and use

This app is a pain to use. The support is unresponsive. There is no way to reach a support person. Forum is locked and email system broken. I want a refund. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
