I've always listened to podcasts and wondered what other podcasts these people are on, and this app provided me with that information. These guys are doing a great job. Note: The app has been real buggy lately. I still love this app but there’s been a lot of issues lately. Downloads are constantly having to download again. Crashes are becoming a regular occurrence and it constantly asks to restore purchases sometimes shutting off in the middle of a podcast. I have to drop the rating from 5 stars to 3 until these issues are addressed.

I’ve been paying for this app now for a year hoping that the money would make it better. No more! Read below the queries I sent to the Laughable support team. None were answered and the app continues to malfunction as described below. Spotify here I come. Monday 11/2/2020: What the heck is going on with this version 3.3? I downloaded 17 podcasts from my home Wi-Fi. I am out on the road driving truck and when I open up Laughable it has to re-download all 17 again wasting my data usage. Please give me a report on what’s happening. Laughable for iOS, version 3.3 Tuesday 11/3/2020 Ok, so a day later the Laughable app is doing the same crap. It wants to re-download all previously downloaded podcasts, a major waste of my Verizon data as I am a longhauler who travels with frequency into very rural areas without a Verizon signal. So this morning while traveling in the deserts of Nevada, I went to open up your app to play my downloaded podcast and guess what? They were not available because there was no Verizon data signal, as to be expected out in the desert. I love your app because all podcasts I download on my home Wi-Fi are available on your app when there is no signal out on the road. Well I guess that has changed. So unless this is an aberration that can be fixed, I will be forced to quit subscribing and paying for your once excellent app and return to the Apple Podcast app. Please respond. Tuesday 11/3/2020 Well, I’m at a delivery site where I have access to Wi-Fi. I upgraded the app to 3.4 in hopes that it would cure the trouble I’ve been having. It seems that it still has to re-download all podcasts that had been previously downloaded at my home through Wi-Fi upon opening the app. Laughable for iOS, version 3.4

No matter what even after you make the purchase it requires you verify that you did. You can’t just press play from your car or headphones. This makes the app super dangerous. I wonder if they will take responsibility for any traffic mishaps due to their bad programming?
Great interface and idea, but keeps losing podcasts

There’s no worse feeling than being an hour into a 10 hour drive, only to find all the podcasts that you’d downloaded MIA. This app does this to me multiple times per day. It’s so bad, I frequently download pods in parallel on Apple podcast app. I really like the concept and have been a loyal user, but I doubt I will resubscribe. Too flaky.

This app has helped me listen to my favorite podcasts and to find new ones so easily. The ability to find episodes that feature certain comedians is amazing. I love this app.

I’ve used laughable for a while. I love the way it bring new eyes to underdog podcasts. It’s a bummer they got money hungry and now charge for use of the app. Seems like there can be another way to fund the already established app with all the other podcast apps. Peace out laughable.
issue replaying episodes

almost impossible to replay an episode. you have to snipe the scrubber button or hit pause within .0532 seconds before the page collapses from the audio reaching 00:00. if you misclick the only way to time it again is by re-opening the app lol. will update with a 5 star once fixed

I love this app for multiple reasons. The first is the number of available podcasts and episodes. The second is the support team is amazing they give you the ability to request podcast as well as general support. The audio quality is always very good the page is easy to navigate and see what episodes are available.
