I am a current marketing student and I’m trying out different tools. I recently started an Instagram for my dog as a side project to apply what I’ve learned so far. Some tools have been helpful, others not so much. As a student it’s great to get many of these tools free or heavily discounted so we can learn how to use them. There is a lot of potential for this app but the free version has ZERO potential. You can’t upload multiple photos to a post, you can’t upload videos to a post and if you try, you get this annoying pop up that says you have to upgrade to premium subscription…and the pop up doesn’t go away and you can’t close the box so you have to force close the app. Of course I don’t expect every marketing tool company to give handouts or discounts to students but the monthly cost on this is more than what I can spend just to play around with it and learn how to use it. I will say that this app does appear to be very user friendly and has a simplistic/modern design. The subscription fee is pretty affordable for a company. This is an app I may consider down the road but for now I will stick with the tools I can get for free or discounted through my student status.

Asks me to refresh connection to Facebook and it says cannot connect try on desktop. I try and still fails. Tried with new Facebook accounts as well. This app is absolute garbage. Doesn’t even work
Scheduling Stories w/o laptop/desktop

The paid version allows you to schedule stories as part of their plan. However, this is only possible using the desktop site. I have all apple products and use an iPad Pro since I don’t use enough programs to need a laptop/desktop computer. Scheduling stories is very difficult/not possible using an iPad/iPhone and the app doesn’t have this feature regardless of whether you have a paid plan. Definitely looking to cancel this plan if this is not fixed soon.

Crashes and loses your work

I wanted to like this product and I have a need for the service. I just created a post with details and tags and pictures and this app failed to post and said “an unknown error occurred”. It deleted my post, all my work was lost, and I have to start over. That is the only function of this app - to post. I can’t have the sort of thing happening and I’ll have to find something else.
Didn’t like getting forcibly upgraded

Works for the most part. Didn’t like that I’ve been in a legacy plan which works JUST FINE for us and now the cost is doubled just to maintain a second account and second user. Um, no. I’ll be migrating away.
Link in bio missing

Why is there no ability to add link in bio link to a post in the app ? Am I missing it ?

Used to work great. Lately there is ALWAYS a glitch with Instagram connection, both mobile and desktop. Today I can’t even publish!
