Through the app, you have access to bike maps AND safety maps – created by other cyclists. Find your city's bike lanes and see which roads have been rated the safest by other cyclists.
Cyclists are encouraged to help one another by giving safety ratings to the roads they travel. Once the roads have been rated, LaneSpotter helps you create the safest routes from Point A to Point B. And then we make it easy for you to get there, by providing turn-by-turn navigation.

Tried multiple times to login but not able to get past ‘next’ step. Freezes at that point. Was looking forward to using this app.

Was unable to initially login with multiple attempts but it doesn’t explain why. There was only a 404 error code. Will delete immediately!

I tried joining..... super excited to see an app for mapping safe routes, but I couldn’t join. Kept getting an error code when trying to join, so I gave up.

Excited after the bicycling article, but this app is very poorly designed. I can’t figure out how to do much of anything on it. Limited information and limited user friendliness.

Still really buggy, zoom is borderline unusable Does not differentiate between directions of travel when marking roads: often, a road is safe if one direction but should be avoided in the other (even if it is not 1-way) Needs a CamScanner-style magnifying glass when marking roads, otherwise misidentifies finger presses

I tried registering and got an SSL error after downloading. I deleted the app and tried again. No luck. They lost me forever.
