The latest update to the KNBR app REQUIRES you to create an account to enter the app. CAUTION: don’t upgrade your KNBR app. YOU CAN NO LONGER STREAM IT WITHOUT CREATING AN ACCOUNT. Now I’ve deleted the app and will no longer be able to stream via my phone because I am not registering for an account to listen to the radio. THAT IS not only INSANE but also horrible business practices and a violation of privacy given the personal data required to register. I used to listen to KNBR all day. So long KNBR.

This app is the worst app ever. Zero functionality on interface, which, whatever that’s not why I have it. The app crashes and restarts every 5 minutes. I listen to more ads than I do shows and come on, if I wanted candy crush or whatever game they want to shove down my throat I would have gotten it myself! Get out of my way! I am studying at Fitz and Brooks University and I know all the cheeses! What’s shakin!? Not this app!

Are you from The Bay? Do you love Bay Area sports? Do love fun and informative sports talk radio centered around Bay Area sports? Do you love apps that constantly crash because of pop-up advertising software? If so, THEN THIS IS THE APP FOR YOU!!! Not a new problem either. Been using the app for years and it’s always been like this.

This App has gone down hill with every update. Now I have to listen to all of these game apps before I can even get to the KNBR programming. Once there, I loose the signal after 10 min. Even though I have full bars for my internet feed. I would gladly pay for a subscription to avoid all of this BS. Fire the people who have trashed this, and get some people who know how to do it right.

What a piece of junk!! Completely worthless. Listening to the Giants game and then the NBA playoffs come on. Found the game again, but then both games were playing at the same time!! Should be so simple but they make it wayyyyy too complicated.
Drops connection regularly and now with brutal “click to install” ads

Not sure if it is latest version but it has gotten worse and worse ever week. Don’t bother trying to follow a Murph and Mac story as you’ll be bounced about 3x before it is over. Now when you lose connection you need to watch an ad before going. Even if dropped when you’re listening to an ad!

The audio work for about 10 seconds and then stopped. The screen was always black with no buttons or way to navigate. Worst app I have ever used

One of the worst apps! In a matter of listening to the app this morning it crashed on me 3 times in a matter of 5 minutes. A better way to listen is to go on the knbr website and listen live. Don’t waste your time with this app
