Worked on my first try after downloading next day cannot connect to internet and to check my settings. My internet works on everything else except this app.

Even Jim Tomsula did a better job preparing and executing than the people/“engineers” at KNBR did on this app. I think it’s time KNBR actually pays real engineers to develop this app. You can’t keep using those high schoolers to code.
Garbage update

The old app worked perfectly for years. After the new update the app says I do not have internet connection and closes. I am connected to lte & WiFi. Lame. All other apps and internet work fine.

Terrible click to play ads every time you open the app. Then you listen to a digital ad, before you get to the station playing ads. And every time it drops/buffers, you get bounced to the same audio ad.

I downloaded this thinking I could listen to the legendary Greg Papa call games. Since knbr does simulcast on 104.5 fm now I thought they would have it available to stream on the app. They do not. I was all ready to go with my headphones at the game and surprised and dissapointed that other programming was streaming instead.
I don’t understand all the hate

The app has always worked fine for me. To the people complaining they can’t listen to the Giants and Niners on the app: that content is owned by MLB and NFL and they expect us to PAY for streaming games from their own outlets, not individual station apps.

Who developed this? A high school kid? Constantly restating a buffering. Have to listen to 2/3 ads just for it to restart after 3 minutes. And then you have to listen to the ads again. And the why am I hearing a crappy college bowl game of teams not close to the bay while the SF 49ers are currently playing a game?

You must really try to disappoint your listeners, mission accomplished. Streaming audio is not rocket science- the sports leader is the tech lagger. This should be a priority to fix.
