I created a digital key in Home Depot using my mobile number but the app uses my email address as login. So there doesn’t seem to be a way to connect the two identifying pieces of information. Anyone figure out a fix yet? Great concept but this gap seems odd to me.

App won’t let me sign up. It says email already in use no matter which I use. I’ve never used this app before. Even still, password recovery leads to blank page. Is this service even still running?

Unable to create an account. It tells me that my email is already in use. I even tried using an email with a nonexistent location. It still said that the email was already in use.

Got the app but keep getting error message saying email is already in use. Not possible since this is the first time I’ve had the app.

I was in Home Depot having keys made. Bought an extra key because you can’t send info to app after key is made. Put in mobile number. Also downloaded app. One hour and 55 mins later app finally accepted my email address I still have no digital copy of my key. And that’s Ben almost 2 hrs. App tells me to verify email which I have done twice. Piece of trash. Yet another great idea which is poorly designed

So..... You will see a silly cartoon depiction of how it’s supposed to work. Ah 1 and ah 2 and ah 3..... come on?!?! Very poor sharing of the sequence of how steps should be taken. . I think that I’m thee very first customer at this Home Depot to ask for a digital key. . Typical mistakes that engineers make..... . Assume everyone knows what they’re thinking.... half of the steps are shared, and the other half of the needed steps are assumed to have been shared..... but remain in the engineer’s head.

Apparently no way to change your password after you create your account. Also, attempts to change the name of a key silently fail. Kudos for trying to make the process of storing a key as simple as possible, unfortunately the process is not obvious to the first time user and the key cutters in the stores do not know either. Needs a better next steps guidance after you confirm your email.
