Completely useless app

Timekeeper112233

Tried on two automatic watches and could give a reading no matter how many times I tried. Just check your watch's accuracy using an internet clock. Waste of money.

Doesn't work

Piece of crap. Doesn't work at all. Just got "no signal" every time I tried. Various watches, various positions, and even with the case back off. NO SIGNAL. Don't waste your money.

Good, but could be better

It works, but it is very fiddly. I have found that the microphone needs to make physical contact in order to work well. As many other commenters have noticed, a pillow can help isolate from other noises. Someone else noted that it would be good if the timing were integrated over a longer period. 5 or 6 seconds of data would give a more accurate, less noisy reading. Plus, from looking at the signal it often says is not there, I think it should be able to do a better job of seeing the peaks. Still, when you get it just right, and you can figure out what the real rate is, super useful tool.

A sad attempt.

I got my hopes up for this app. But one word sums it up. Awful. 3 different mics, many different watches, all put in as many positions as the Kama Sutra has. Every time it says "no signal" or "unstable signal". I've played with the amplification like the troubleshooting says, but it's all to no avail. Don't waste your money.

Great app for ones who appreciate wrist watches

I have been a Kello fan for sometime. This app does what it says it does, although are are some tricks mostly because of the limitation of the microphone on a set of Apple ear buds. The updates are much appreciated as the app works even better. I use a Bergeon watch pad to test my watches which works well. For some of my dive watches that have thick stainless cases, the microphone has a harder time capturing a frequency, but for most other watches, Kello works fine. My only suggestion is to have some sort of export feature for each timing run, and a method for saving particular watches in the app.

Just what I was looking for - worked perfectly on Baume and Mercier Chrono with ETA 7750 movement

Watching this App!

Just what I was looking for - worked perfectly on a Baume and Mercier Chrono with ETA 7750 movement. Pressed mic (small silver disc) side of Apple earbud mic case against back of watch while on a felt pad. Results corrolated perfectly with my previous timing results using an atomic clock signal over a 24 hour period.

It works

App works great to spot check the accuracy of my Submariner. However for $10 I'm expecting more features. Please add a history log, or a graph of some sort so we can see the average.

It really works

I've got three manual watches that keep varying quality of time, an old Submariner that lost a minute a day, and 40 year old Seiko that lost 30s, and a Panerai that lost 10s/day. Using Kello, I was able to get the Panerai to +\-0.5s/day and the Rolex to +\-4s/day. Unfortunately the Seiko wouldn't work, I suspect the movement's escapement isn't loud enough. It does take some fiddling to find an ideal microphone placement but once you do the app provides consistent and useful results. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to verify the accuracy of a mechanical watch or get their hands dirty and adjust their own movements.

Fantastic app for those needing to regulate a watch.

I tell you what this app has saved me a ton of time in regulating my watch collection. I have tired a few other ear buds with this app and for sure use the apple ear buds with this app and it will work flawless. I have all my watches running within +\- 2 seconds a day no joke this app is worth every penny and hope to see new functions in the future.

A professional tool not a toy.

Working great exactly the same result of my Vibrograf. Great job thanks
