This is a great idea and I suspect the software is fine...but I've only gotten this to work once and even with that watch it only sometimes works (even though that watch's ticking audibly to my naked ear). Very disappointed overall.

I don't normally write reviews, but this works like a charm. I simply use the inline mic from the iPhone earbuds and place it on the crystal of the watch. It correctly identified the BPH, which indicated it does work. It shows the accuracy pretty much spot on from basic measurements I take over time against an atomic clock, only this app does it instantly. I can also instantly tell how different positions change the accuracy.

Analysis was accurate for a watch tested so far. But needs to do more for this price, e.g. displaying the frequencies, other analysis and diagnosis etc.

I love the idea of this app, but unfortunately, it was useless for me. I tried this app with multiple automatics, in a quiet space, and with multiple mic's and it failed every time. In all cases it just told me that it couldn't get a signal when trying to detect the frequency. You may have a better experience, but just be warned that it might be a total wash out.

A great idea. But it does not do well with my Invicta 8926 or Seiko SKX173.It has a hard time finding a signal.I often get a "signal unstable" message.

Thought this might be a decent app to give an inital ballpark test before the timegraph when purchasing watches away from home. Completely unusable even with the suggested Apple brand headphones. What a waste of $9.00.

Used the same piezo contact mic I use on my timing machine. No signal. Tried everything. Always get no signal error.

This thing does not work. Tried it with the apple headphones/mic as recommended, and the app could not pick up a signal on any of the 5 watches I tried.
My Bells are not rockin
Tried a number of different mikes, but it was never able to get a signal. Waste of money.
