Painful to Use

I don’t want to be typing my Keepass password every time I turn around. When I’m on my private iPad I want the freedom of a very LONG timeout to auto close. Can’t seem to do more than five minutes. This is useless. When I’m on my private PC using Keepass, I can just keep the database open. My iPad is my “laptop.” I’m looking for the same freedom.

I imported from another password app with a compatible database. The conversion was easy and it converted everything. I am recommending this app to my friends.
This is an excellent app for iOS and PC.

There has been a need for a good password manager for iOS that had several characteristics for years. It had to be: Not the Apple Keychain. Many want something independent of your phone maker. Open source. For increased trust. Keepass Touch is essentially a fork off of the open source project Mini Keepass which is a known quantity but has after eight years been abandoned. Keepass Touch didnt originally cater to all the open source fans as much as they would like but has made an effort to do so lately and does make their code available to inspect. Able to be part of a system of apps working together to service Windows and Linux laptops as well as desktops and Cloud backup services such as Dropbox, OneDrive and iCloud, and iOS mobile devices. Keepass Touch does this very well handling the iOS devices while KeepassXC handles Linux and Windows devices. The default password file can be read and edited from either the iPhone or the Windows laptop end of the system and then saved to Dropbox and following that be read by either devices. To be capable with modern file system architecture. Mini Keepass originally handled Keepass V.1 files later was updated to do Keepass V.2 files. Keepass Touch has been modernized to handle not only both types of Keepass files but the system used for the Master Password security has been upgraded from 3.1 SHA1 to the current 4.0 SHA256 with 4.1 Argon2 coming I have read. To be able to use current unbreakable encryption. Keepass Touch uses AES256 cypher and sad to say, for those who do not trust anything with the US governments hands in it, also TwoFish cypher on Keepass V.1 files. AES only on Keepass V.2 files. KeepassXC uses both cyphers on both Keepass V.1 and V.2 files. As a suggestion to the owners of this project it would be a great idea as V.2 files are THE standard now, to make another advance from the MiniKeepass days by making Keepass Touch offer both AES and Twofish available for all files. Twofish and even its predecessor Blowfish are unbroken cyphers, highest security and according to Snowden known not to possess backdoors. Unlike AES which is the US Govt NSA managed cypher. Should be free to use with possible support by ads or by a small fee to get rid of ads. It IS so. Conclusion. I have tried many different password programs and encryption schemes both open source and proprietary and although there are others that will work as well, and some that may be fancier looking, KeepassXC in tandem with Keepass Touch works excellently for me using a Win 10 Pro Dell laptop and an iphone 8plus. And for those that want cloud backup like me, it works great with Dropbox and others. Please support this project and to the owners of this project keep up the good work and please keep the work updated. This review may be reprinted by others. Hoping that the info helps others. waiting for onedrive sync

it says in the description that keepass touch supports onedrive sync, but it seems it needs the “file” app to do so and i must re-import database file after synchronization from other platforms.
Has a mind if it’s own.

This app is randomly changing and/or deleting one’s group or entries. It’s not reliable. So disappointed as I likes how it’s organized.

I love this app. One of the best parts is the automatic database update feature, which is why I started using this instead of another app. Works with all the big cloud drive providers.

Syncing with Dropbox does not allow saving from iOS device

The Touch ID of this app is nice. Be advised that Dropbox sync is one way, you can pull updates from Dropbox, but you cannot edit and save changes to Dropbox.
