DropBox Sync Big Troubles

TaserVictim

Auto sync results in corruption and backrevving, manual sync asks about using the newer on or not, if you say use newer (presumably the newer on on the Dropbox) it often leaves you with the old one anyway. Do not makeup changes to a shared KeePass file with this app, you will be sorry. To be fair this is probably a result of the iPad not having any file system, and instead each app stores data in its own secret sauce. So the KeePass database in the app’s secret sauce is supposed to be reconciled with the real thing on the DropBox, but, well ya know, do you have it set for offline or not? Argh, I just removed it from, my iPad. I’ll manage with my Android phone and my desktop PC talking to the real DropBox data file. Forget the iOS secret sauce. Tried again March 2019, same worthless Dropbox sync. Only tries to sync when you close the database and at that time it spins endlessly initializing Dropbox sync. Removed again.

Good KeyPass Alternative

mike is happy

Good keypass alternative for IOS. Allows for import from Dropbox and ICloud. I like the added support for FaceID.

Great integration

I love this app. One of the best parts is the automatic database update feature, which is why I started using this instead of another app. With Dropbox now doing a three device limit, it would be great if the auto update feature worked with iCloud.

Well Done!!

App works exactly as described. Dropbox sync is the bomb! But now that Dropbox has a three device limit, PLEASE enable iCloud sync.

Crashed, corrupted dB, lost everything

This app is a disaster waiting to happen. Have hard copies in a bank vault.

Awesome tool

Used KeePass for years on Windows. Eventually I used in conjunction with Dropbox but it became a pain since my old laptop slowly became unusable. One day I sat down in frustration, wishing that I could access all my passwords from my phone, so I searched the AppStore for a KeePass compatible app. There are a lot of KeePass compatible apps, many free but this one caught my eye since it was actively maintained. I paid to get rid of the ads and it was completely worth it. This app gets the job done, and keeps adding features.

Still having sync issues

Sync to newest version erases newest version . Ugh. Very frustrating. Have to manually copy database .

1.9.3 Changes All Attachments to Zero-Byte Files

RhomboidG

As I look at the app history currently (July 10, 2019), I see a critical update 4 months ago, which is the current version. I tried to change and save an existing KeePass file with the app and when I did the resulting file went from 1.2 MB to 101 KB. When I opened the file in KeePass and KeePassXC to check, all my attachments were 0-byte files. Do NOT update and save files with version 1.9.3 or, I assume, earlier versions. Wait for a fix as the app seems otherwise quite good. It can still open and view KeePass databases. Just don’t edit/save them. For the developer: I tried exporting to both OneDrive and Apple Files after updating the database and in both cases the database had broken attachments. I’m not using auto-sync or Dropbox at all.

Oh no!

Deb0362

6 hours inputting data. Did a sync to Dropbox saying use newer version, lost all updates to file. Did more updates (not 6’hours worth) and every time I say use newer version it reverts back to older version. Every. Single. Time.

Still freezes after latest update

Have to reboot phone to open the app. Blank white screen
