I love this app so much. It really helps you and it has so so many songs to learn and lessons. You can really learn from Kala, I really recommend it! Only thing is I hoped the non-free songs had more to listen to, I get that it offers a lot to being partially free but that’s all! Thank you.

Hate to say it but so much better before the update

Let me begin by saying I love this app, but loved it way more before the update. I had spent serious time creating my favorites folder and they are nowhere to be found, so last night I spent an hour creating new favorites and this morning they were all gone again. There is also not a place where you find all of your favorites, you can only change the song list to list your favorites first. Or am i missing something? I’m not sure why they messed with it. LOVE Kala but bummed about the update.

I think that kala is a great app and if you are a beginner it helps you improve really fast and I got really good really fast and I love playing my ukulele because doc this app

Tuner used to be great now it is just terrible.

A Very Disappointing Update

The original app was PERFECT, but I do not like the redesign. The only new feature I like is the backup music is so much better, but the interface is clunky and it's a lot harder to follow along with the songs now. ? If you like the design, the app is absolutely worth it and has lots of great songs to learn.

New version of the software is terrible

Very disappointed in the new version of the Kala app. Features I greatly enjoyed like being able to change the background music went away. The default background music in this version is a big step backwards. I’ve been a big fan of Kala and used the app consistently over the past two years. I hope the app improves; I will update my review if it does.

I got this because I got a ukulele from my school and I had to tune it. It was so easy (I do play the violin so I know how to tune a string instrument) but I would recommend this to beginners. I was interested in learning some chords so I pressed the learning button and within a few minutes I knew the C chord and the Em chord. I would recommend this to anyone.

thanks a lot, kala. When I went to tune today, the app said most of my strings were in tune. When I checked my A against the sound tuner I thought it sounded ok, but the beginner tuner said it was way to low. So I started tightening it, and nothing changed on the tuner UNTIL THE STRING BROKE. Kalas tuner is horrible and should be upgraded, at least. And overall, the app isn’t super good at explaining things either.
