Terrible app. Tuner is hard to use and doesn’t show beginners which strings correspond to notes to tune, unlike better apps. App freezes on tutorials. You tube videos are better.

If you can’t tell the difference between a g and c then you obviously don’t know how to use a tuner. You should make sure you actually know how to use something like this before you give it a bad review. I love the app. I got my makala in September of this year and I love it. It has great songs and has helped my progress on my playing. Thank you so much kala!!

Great app I just started and now can play chords and songs. It have a ton of free music but I wish we did not have to pay for the whole thing! Great app

This app was exactly what I needed. It just seems like you made it just for me. What I like most is hearing the tune as well. Too many times we have it all wrong. I am a guitar player learning to play the ukulele. I wish this was available when learning the guitar.

I have no experience with stringed instruments. In fact the only instrument I ever played was the Steel Pan in high school. Guitars etc. have always been intimidating. I got a Color Chord Ukulele for Christmas and can already play along with several songs. The videos, the finger placement guide, the strumming guide and the feedback are all incredibly easy to use and helpful tools. I like that I can search for songs with the notes that I feel most comfortable playing.
