Great for on the road or at home

MD-11 Pilot

I'm an airline pilot and find this workout useful when I'm on a layover. It's quick and I get a full body workout. I’ve been at this workout long enough that I don’t need instruction on how to do a workout. It would be nice if there was an option for the voice to announce the type of exercise without instruction.

So disappointed to discover that I can’t use the app without registering with my personal info including birthday. I won’t do it and will be deleting the app.

I am an exercise physiologist looking for a 7 minute workout that I can recommend to my patients who are very sedentary and obese. Unfortunately the beginner level is too advanced for me to recommend.

Excellent app

Excellent app overall for people who want to dip their toes into high intensity exercise all the way to hardcore routines High intensity is the way to go! The Original 7 Minute Workout is a great place to start but for example they give 5 second rest which is not practical and the original paper suggests 10 sec, no more than 15 sec Edit: the original article Workout is best represented in app as “The Full Workout” which plans 3 cycles with 10 sec rest between but of course you can stop after 1 or 2! May 2019: I’ve moved up into the Hard category at age 50 and I do pull-ups afterward to get some biceps workout December 2019: Still going strong alternating Variety Mix and Advanced Progression but subbing in other exercises you can see on the Learn mode eg incline pushups, swimmer, skater Upgrade tip for developers: Allow a more custom build of exercise routines
