I downloaded the app. However, there is no way to get past the first screen for the subscription version. It wants $69 for a year subscription that auto renews. In addition, the screen has text that is over written over additional text making it difficult to even sign in. I wouldn’t go past the landing page in the app if it is that disorganized from the beginning. You can sign on for a seven day free trial but I wasn’t interested in that.

I downloaded the app to talk to Hispanic coworkers easily. But testing the app. Speaking my native language I would say “good morning. Can you help me find the bathroom?” And the words it would pickup in English were not even close to what I said and every try was wildly different. This is just poo poo voice recognition for this day and age.

I’m going to Mexico on the 24-30 Jan and my biggest fear was not to be able to communicate. Converse has taken a negative and turn it into a positive. I can’t wait to start my vacation. HooAh!!

Played a Spanish VM several times and the app kept cutting it off saying it didn’t quite get that. I need something reliable and quick and accurate first time around.
