One-sided translator

SiberianDivide

I got this for my new Apple Watch and it’s pretty genius, works great and everything, except you get one star instead of five because you can only translate one way from English to another language. This defeats the point of easily having a broken or decent conversation with someone that doesn’t speak English because, and I have no idea why this never immediately clicked in the developers head(s), ahem… YOU CAN’T TRANSLATE ANOTHER LANGUAGE BACK TO ENGLISH. So you still have no clue what the other person is saying in response.

Transparency, high cost

Chconservative

Make the app more transparent prior to customers downloading it, unless they wanna pay 69. or a free 7 day trial

Excellent app

This is an excellent app. It has helped me tremendously improve my Spanish conversation. I use it mostly during free time to improve my Spanish conversation. I highly recommend it to anyone. Cal Colbert

Love it, but

Love the program. Will raise the rating from four stars to five when Italian is added as an offline feature.

They Subscribe You on Their Own

Shady- do not recommend

My boyfriend and I both downloaded this app so we could communicate with my cousin’s fiancée and her family. We were under the impression it was a basic, free version as nothing popped up saying there was a PRO version you could purchase monthly or annually. I just went into my subscriptions today and I was baffled to see an annual subscription to this app. I would never have downloaded it had I known this would happen and neither would my boyfriend. I think it’s extremely shady the app does this to customers and you have no idea. I want a refund for the annual subscription and so does my boyfriend.

Did not work at all

MinJonPDX

I tried to do a simple translation of the phrase “would you like some bread,” and it took several attempts of me speaking unreasonably slowly, clearly, and loudly. Once it gave me a nonsensical answer, and another time it did not translate but rather answered my question by saying yes! Other times it would mistake an English word for a Chinese word. This is not an issue with my diction or my microphone, because I have found another translation app that works on the first try.

Fake “free” trial automatically does 1 year subscription

Interesting Angie

I initially signed up for the free trial, and instead of doing the free trial, it automatically billed me for ONE YEAR (a $69.99 charge) without my consent! This app & the devs are super shady for doing that. Beware whenever doing any free trials on this platform.

This app is great

Unbelievable how easy this is. I thought about learning a new language but now I can speak all the languages thanks again
