iTranslate Converse Reviews

Translations for many of the languages (Like Korean, French, and Japanese) is very inaccurate. I’m a linguistics student, and a polyglot, so I wanted to test this app, but it still has a long way to go.

Poor capabilities

It’s a shame, the user interface is very nicely designed, it would be great if the translations worked, but they do not. I set the app to English and Spanish as the desired languages, and spoke “cómo está” and this was translated into English as “as is.” It’s hard to imagine a translation app that can’t figure out one of the most basic phrases in Spanish. Similarly, I set the app to Greek and said, “Πως σε λένε,” which should be “what’s your name,” but instead was translated as “How to say.” I don’t know what the problem is, but these translations are seriously broken.

So far, so good. Not sure what the limit is for translations on the free version, but I’m sure I’ll find out soon. People who wrote bad reviews must not pay attention. No app can force you to subscribe, it’s optional. If you sign up, that’s your own fault. If you pay attention, you will notice the x at the top right that allows you to close the pop up and proceed with the app without doing the free trial of pro.

Beware of this App, drill way down and there is information on monthly subscription charges. This is supposedly a “free app”, however due to their tricky documentation you can expect a monthly bill of $9.99 plus tax. Failing to put this information up front is inexcusable. We are also sending a formal complaint to Apple. Shame on the iTranslate people. Hopefully this review will save you from this insult.

Charged my Bank account without my permission!!!!!

This is a fraud!!!!!!! I had a friend recommending it and we both got charged without any notice! It was all free and easy to sign in-now I see that they have charged 10$ on my bank account-and making me have this Translate Pro- without even asking me-I could not even find their costumer service to ask them what’s going on! This is called stealing! Don’t bother sending your automatic response ! I will make sure Apple store knows you have a fraud app! Hope they have a penalty on it !

This app is a scam. Doesnt work like it says and it’s a subscription!!!! YOU WILL BE CHARGED EVEN IF YOU DELETE THE APP THE SAME DAY YOU GET IT. BS I WISH THERE ARE NEGATIVE STARS.

If I say something in Spanish it will sometimes come out different then what I said.But I still like the app.

Doesn’t work like it should

Doesn’t translate very well. Was trying to translate something from a movie into English but the translation was talking about Clinton. The movie wasn’t even about Clinton. It was a horror movie about ouija boards. I will be deleting this app since it doesn’t work properly.
