I'm a physician. I didn't bring my stethoscope home when I went to visit family. My father needed me to evaluate his lungs for acute wheezing, and despite 30 min of messing with this app and watching you tube instructions, it was a big fail!

What to do to hear a clear beat of your heart with this app? Press Red button, then '<' and play with Filter until you hear the good quality of your heart beat. Before doing that I also could not 'locate' my heart so I may relate to the frustration of other reviewers. Peter did a great job with the app, promptly replied to my Qs, so I am a happy bird now : ) Please share your experience: I'd be happy to know that my advice on Filter path made a difference for you. Thanks!

The iPhone microphone is not capable of "hearing" the heart under normal circumstances. A stethoscope is special made to allow someone to hear it. This App is not able to achieve that ability.

Given the mic location in relation to the headphone jack on an iPhone 6, this is almost completely useless. Using an inline mic on earbuds is suggested as an alternative but is almost impossible to manage since you have to touch it so much to position. Waste of money.

Absolutely junk and useless app. Should not be selling this at apple site as app is nonfunctional. Money should be refunded
