Disfunctional

Kiloapp

I am a professional audio engineer and this app will not work with an iPhone 5. This is because the headphone jack is on the same side as the microphone. There is no way to press the mic against your body with the headphones connected (which is required). They should update the description to reflect this. Can I get a refund?

Bad UI & functionality

J9z

Incomprehensible UI design. Doesn't measure heart rate reliably.

I was doubtful but this really works!!! I don't ever review apps but I had to on this on :)

AWESOME!!!

So I bought this app thinking it might not work but after using it the app is amazing! I'm sort of obsessed with cardiology so when I got to hear my heartbeat it was so cool! Even though every time I use the app I have to take my otter box off the app Is still great.Definitely worth the 99 cents. Has a extremely clear sound and let's u hear your heartbeat clearly.

People have no common sense! First of, it states go to settings and activate app. Anyone who has common sense knows that well there is no setting in the app so they must refer to your phone settings. Took me less then a second to figure that one. Went to my iPhones setting, clicked on the app and tada the activate button was there. Clicked to activate and began using the app. For those who says it picks up everything but the heartbeat, uh you must not know where your heart is located. I picked up my heartbeat by using the heartbeat pure and heartbeat filtered modes. Change the modes by clicking the mode button. Press the bottom of the phone (where you normally talk through) to your heart, wrist or back of knee. I caught my heartbeat in all three areas and my neck too. This works perfectly for pregnant mommies too and cheaper than other apps. I found my baby's heartbeat after a little bit searching for it. I'm around 24 weeks pregnant. It's also great to listen to whispering and conversations far away. I tried it at work and within my home. I heard mumbling from the other room...so to test the app, I changed the move to conversation and tada I was hearing a TV show clear as daylight. I was surprised bc I walked into the room and it was exactly what I was listening to. Here is one last tip, make sure to use good headphones. The ones that block out other sounds are a good example. No headphones with microphones....sorry can't use the iPhone headphones. Other than that, this app is worth it. Tip: If you don't know basic anatomy or have common sense, do yourself a favor and save yourself the $.99. Have a great day!

Baby heart monitor app

B town va

Don't waste money does not work.. Tries all the ways ppl say it works on you tube and that alot of dif ways and none of them ever worked.. My gf is 26 weeks pregnant and could not hear a sound.. Made a fast heart beat sound with volume up but did that in my stomach and then tried no volume, record and listen with headphones and that didnt work at all... Don't waste a dollar on this it does NOT work

Doesn't work w iPhone 5

cframness

The microphone is right next to the headphone connection. So you aren't able to get the microphone against skin. Waste of $.

Joke

Jennybeethree

What a joke. Yesterday, I read that this app worked sort of like a Doppler and I could hear my baby's heartbeat. I was so excited when I found it almost immediately yesterday... This afternoon, my husband found The baby in his Billy's heartbeat, too. I don't know what it picks up, but it certainly isn't a heartbeat. Don't waste your money.

Worked for me

Cmax403

I got this app to listen to baby's heartbeat and surprisingly it worked. I was skeptical at first and had to play with it. I tried headphones but had issues because they're plugged in bottom of my phone so it was hard to press on stomach. I tried it without headphones and switched the mode to "clear sound" and it worked loud and clear. Make sure you tap on the stethoscope to begin.
