Great app, but...

Top of the shelf app with all the basic features to assist landscape professionals in there projects, once you get used to it you will have your designs in no time. Never had an issue with it till it started crashing in recent days, I hope there is a quick fix to this.

Downloaded app, uploaded picture of area I want to plan out, added 3 plants & can’t add anymore unless I pay. Great concept, but pretty vague about not really being able to plan anything unless you pay. Total waste of my time. Thanks, but no thanks.

Am I missing something?

Found this app through a story in the App Store where it was advertised as free for homeowners. I added one ground cover and one retaining wall and it won’t allow me add more items. When I press the (+) to add an item the upgrade to Pro screen pops up. Every.single.time. The Pro version is $99.99 a year?! Is there a real free version somewhere that I missed?

I have been designing landscapes for 44 years. iScape allows my clients to see what I am imagining in both 2D & Augmented Reality. I have been using the app for two years, my sales have quadrupled. I notice more items in the data base. I have requested additions which were made. What they don’t have, I substitute with explanations knowing full well that iScape will ultimately have an even broader scope of both soft and hard scape materials to use. Carry on !

Don’t waste your time if you think this is a free app. I get 3 sections of fence done and then it wants money to continue. Definitely not for the DIYer.

Needs More Work

I was excited to use this app, but it kept crashing and glitching. I had to rebuild my project 5x before I finally got it to save before glitching and freezing up. Very frustrating and wasted a lot of time. Inventory list does not scroll down, so I had to re-search a plant every time I wanted to repeat it in the design. The augmented reality feature does not handle changing light conditions at all which is detrimental when using it for outdoor purposes. So now I can’t get my project to load at a different time of day from the same “starting point”. I really wanted this app to work as described because it is a great idea, but it’s just not ready with all the bugs. Please consider hiring more or better qualified developers, especially if you’re going to charge so much and say it’s for pros.

Free but not right?

It’s so annoying when you search a free app and the cost is listed as free but then after placing one tree in your “iScape” you get directed to the upgrade page because that was the extent of the “free” part of the app. Don’t be chicken. Your app isn’t free so say so. Tricking people is uncool.

Stop it! An app is a tool. My hammer does not require my personal information before it will recognize nails. Charge me a fair price and STAY OUT OF MY BUSINESS.
