Great for weight loss

Aic25

This app is an absolute must for anyone new to running or anyone looking for an app that provides guidance, to help lose weight, I couldn't speak high enough praise for this great app

Waste of money for novice runner

Runmom43

Hate this app. Wanted something to keep track of interval stats and tell me when to change pace. This doesn't seem to tell me when to switch, and it keeps track of stats but I CAN'T hear it while I'm holding my phone waist/chest level. Apparently this would be better if i had a heart rate monitor and other fancy accessories. i am not a fancy runner. Paid for the whole upgrade because I didn't understand each optional feature. Giant waste of $8, which I think is quite a lot for an app, let alone one I hate. Extremely disappointed.

Voice still an issue

The voice commands are intermittent when listening to podcasts.

Great app

I really like this app. The interface is clean, the ability to add custom workouts is very intuitive, and it's easy to use while I listen to music

Fix Please

Josey86

Since the update, about a minute after the screen is locked, an alert pops up that says the app will timeout in one minute. If this app can't be used while the screen is locked, it just drains battery and is useless if you have to hold your phone or put it in your pocket while running. As it is now, the app is useless. I really loved this app until this last update. I was using it to prepare for my first 5K in a few weeks. I guess I will have to find a new app until this one is updated.

Love the app, wish it didn't "time out"

Cmooreblessed

I really like and use this app regularly. Until the last update I would have given it 5 stars. But recently since the last update it has started timing out and sending me a notification saying "interval run will time out in one minute" while I am using it when my phone screen goes to lock mode or I access another app like pandora or map my run. It didn't used to do that. Not sure what this is about but it makes the app not usable since I am having to stop running, take it off my arm band and go into the phone to let it know I'm still using it. I hope this issue is resolved soon or I will have to find another interval running app. Thanks!

Terrific App

I've been using Interval Run since Feb 2013. It is simple to set up and it will work in the background of the GPS iRunner app. I get commands when to begin my intervals & recovery. I customize my workouts & it works for me.

I love this app!

I use this app to do the walk/run method. It lets you create your own intervals so I have 10 different ones I use depending on how I feel. This was the best one I have found and I have tried many. Very easy to use and I use it with other apps running with no problem!

Useless

...mint

I used to use this app every time I ran but now it will not play sounds when my phone is locked. I listen to podcasts when I run rather than music. I'm not going to take the developers' suggestion to leave my phone unlocked when this app used to work just fine and they really should fix it. I'm going to have to switch to a competitor's app because of this.

Could be great....

This app has exactly what I need-- the ability to personalize my interval training to make my own couch to 5K training program, and save it! But it has a bug that unfortunately makes it difficult to deal with; It will not let me share to Facebook because it won't let me login. It would be great if it would stay running in the background while you do other things, but it looks like you only have a minute or two to go back to the interval trainer before it closes. With these little tweaks it could be a five-star app.
