I really like this app, its easy to use, very flexible, and works flawlessly. I wanted to do a variety of different interval training, -from 10-1 run/walk, to LT running test, to a tempo run, but,still be able to play my running tunes. This app will do just that - and simply interrupt the music to advise you on the interval and/or status. It also has a number of built in running programs such as the c25k. I like that you can create both long (up to 1 hr) and short intervals, and also have more than a simple 1:1 type interval selection.
I love this app. I love listening to music while on the tread mill an having this app running in front of me, it comes over and tells you how much longer you have left and when to alternate running and walking. Def a great buy for people who are new to running and need something to tell them when to run and walk and when to run each day of the week.
Keeps jumping run sections or repeating sections to the point of what's suppose to be a 25 min run/walk is now only 12 mins. The app isn't worth $1.99. Much better free interval apps out there.
App does a great job with interval training customization. Easy to use and works well do far. I would love to see distance/average speed/calories tracking added.
The other interval/Tabata apps I have tried all go High/Low with no option to pace up or down (if you are on a treadmill). This app allows you to build custom workouts w/ w/e intervals and times you want. 4 stars because no new updates since June 2011. Great app.
Very much easier to set up my own intervals. Graphics have improved too. Nice job. Now get a GPS function and you will approach perfection.
This app is exactly what I was looking for. With the new interface it's even better. Good Pre-Programed intervals and an easy to use custom interval creator. Highly Recommended!!
I'm about to finish week 6 of Couch to 5k and I think this app it's great. Kept me running/walking for 6 weeks. The progression in C25k it's so smooth that I have never had any kind of pain so far (touching wood). I also use the tabata intervals from time to time and it is very helpful. It's great that I can listen to my favorite tunes/podcasts while running.
