If no results they refund 95 cents but bill the $7.95 and if you don’t timely cancel the monthly subscription you will be on the hook for $29.95 a month until you do.

“Having trouble connecting”

This app worked great when I used it over a year ago. Suddenly the app kept saying: “Profile Now Unlocked”. Followed by, “We are having trouble connecting. Please close the app and reopen it in a few minutes”. Like a fool I have tried at least 5 other times and each time was charged $1.99. I did this each time hoping it would work as good as it used to. Don’t waste your money.

And now even after downloading it over and over, it still tells me it’s unable to look anything up despite the alert the “profile was unlocked.” It’s a scam.

This is just a scam that will try to trick you into some phony subscription or Premium charge - NOT FREE. I ended up with a $7.95 charge on Paypal that I am sure I did not authorize. There is no way to cancel your account (free or otherwise) through the application. Why would that be? Why would they make you call Customer Service to cancel your account? This is Flim Flam. A dishonest piece of crap. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I emailed Customer Support and requested a total refund. On reviewing your account, we noticed that a report was purchased with a special discounted pricing offer, which included the additional purchase of 7 days of Intelius Premier Plus service. Normally this service would be billed at $29.95 per month. Since it was canceled within the 7-day period, you were only charged $7.95 for those 7 days of unlimited access.
