No free features to be used - scam

When I downloaded this app, the supposed FREE version, it would not let m use any features of the app what so ever. I open up the app, it shows the “let’s get started” button which I pressed, then it shows the option to buy the premium version and it does not give any other option to close out of that pop up add. It is wanting to FORCE users to download the premium version to use any/all of the features this app has to offer. Do not download. It has nothing to offer to you for free use.

Something has happened in the app where colors are off when I load a picture and then save it. That has rendered this app useless. As a photographer I’m using this to crop pictures down for sharing and to have colors killed and muted by this app doesn’t help.

I don’t know if there was a recent update or not, but now whenever I open the app it requests access to photos and videos and after clicking “allow access” takes you to the settings menu, but everything is checked green to allow, yet when you return to the app it still prompts you to allow access. I tried removing and reinstalling the app but that did not help. The “contact us” feature on the app also does not work, so I had no choice but to one star it to hopefully bring some attention to the problem.

The app is okay, but I only use it to add borders on my photos. For some reason, the app changes the edited format of my uploaded photos. So say I edit a photo in the iPhone camera app - maybe brighten it up or add contrast - Instasize reverts the photo back to its original quality once the border is added. Not very helpful for the purposes I need it for.

So I use this app mainly for the borders, now if I edit a photo in the iPhoto, Instasize changes the coloring of that photo! Or when I edit a filter in here, it changes with the photo app! SUPER frustrating!!

I’ve loved this app for a couple years — from easily formatting the sizing of my photos for literally anything quickly to very quickly editing my pictures using the same edits that are familiar to my marketing. As of lately however, my pictures are saving as overexposed. I’m having to screenshot them once finished and manually cropping as opposed to downloading them to my albums per usual due to the issue. I’m hoping the issue gets resolved quickly.

Super predatory “premium purchases”

I’ve had this app for four years and have never bought premium - want to remove the watermark from a picture? Here’s an ad for premium. Want to make more collages? Ad for premium. Accidentally hit the wrong button? Here’s the PURCHASE BUTTON for premium - i’ve been so close to hitting that button by accident so many times. Stop making the “buy premium” ad pop up every single time we do something. Also, every update: “For premium users only”. “New features added for premium users”. “New premium features!”.
